I think you're spot on with this, something like what happened to Lumen is something that will never, ever truly leave you. Though I've never really got the feeling that Lumen really had much of a Dark Passenger to begin with...granted I've only been up to Episode 6 in Season 5, but she hasn't really felt the same as the actual serial killers or those compelled to go out killing like Dexter, she definitely got more warped than your average, everyday citizen though because of her experience, her acceptance of what Dexter does and her actually *wanting* to go kill all the members of the Group and then doing it and/or taking part in it is evidence enough of that.

Anyways, very well written little one-shot you have here :D I really enjoyed it a lot.

I like how you paint her darkness as something that's still inside her and will never really leave. It seems absolutely true despite how the finale might have made it seem.
