'He sounds like a dream to me,' Remus reasons, looking down at her. 'He means well and I think he genuinely fancies you. You need to stop being so hard on him and give him a chance.' When Lily huffs indignantly, Remus places a calming hand on her forehead. A tantrum is the last thing he needs from her. -

Err, no. If a girl is not interested, she doesn't owe it to anyone to "give him a chance", especially when he's not taking no for an answer. No means no, and if she feels frustrated enough to scream she needs a restraining order, it should be taken seriously instead of implying that just cause he's interested she owes it to him to give it a try, even if she is completely uninterested and doesn't want to. A woman's no is just as valid as a man's. If it was Lily pestering James like this after he'd told her he wasn't interested, we'd be calling her a stalker and a creep without a second thought.

Love this story, I've read it twice! Such a great and natural build up of friendship to romance and I just love the strength Remus gains. Amazing writing as always

What a sweet, funny, angsty, heart-wrenching, brilliant story! The angst, god I love the angst! And the happy ending! And the way they finally get together, Remus flipping out and confessing that he loves Sirius, and Sirius realizing it isn't something to panic over and asking to be allowed to kiss him again. It's just so not-at-all grand, no big gesture, and so unbelievably sweet. Wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing! :D
