[[Luke stalks into the Solo apartment in a dark mood. Glowering at his brother-in-law, he grounds out, "Where's Leia?"

Han only points to the kitchen, and Luke walks over, his mouth drawn into a steely line.

Leia smiles warmly at her brother - she an fix him up with someone she approves of, now that Mara is gone from his life - and moves to hug him.

But then his right arm comes up, and his metal-and-synthflesh backhand catches her completely off guard.

Han's shouting at him, asking him if he's crazy. Leia's mouth is bleeding, and she has a look in her eyes that Luke never wanted to see from her - fear. Fear of him, and his temper.

But he just can't seem to care that he's hit his own sister. Clenching his fists, knowing if he touches her again he'll wind up using the Force to kill her, he quietly orders, "Stay the hell away from me."

He leaves quickly, hoping that he'll be able to undo the damage Leia did to his relationship with Mara.]]

Unorthodox review, I know, but you haven't updated this story in forever, and this little B #$h has it coming to her.

Love this story! The scene between Han and Luke was so funny. I absolutely loved the interaction between them. And that last chapter was excellent as well. Loved Leia's somewhat drunken lines of reasoning re Luke's acceptability. I can't get over how conniving Leia is in this fic! But it rings true, strangely... So how's Luke going to handle being dumped by a very drunk Mara...?
