I started tearing up at the end...although (whispers) Rapunzel is 18...yeah...but i loved it!

This is a great story that wonderfully expresses all the tangled emotions Rapunzel must feel about Gothel, as well as how confusing the outside world can be! I really like it. Thank you for writing and sharing it.

This is the first Tangled fanfic I ever read (mostly because it's never been big for me ;P) so maybe that's why I find it hard to see Rapunzel (in this story, in general) with short brown hair. Even still, if it's hard for ME, then imagine how she feels about it.

I always wondered how it'd be like after Rapunzel came back. Not really something I dwelt on, but just a quick question. That's why when I started reading it, I loved it. There's just so many things to think about after a Disney movie, so many things that could go wrong.

That's why this story is wonderful. I love that you did it. That YOU did it. If only because I adore your writings.

It would be a harder transition than the movie made it out to be, wouldn't it?

I also think she'd be conflicted about the destruction of her former home-b/c, even though she was in fact a prisoner, she didn't know that. The place holds memories that perhaps she is not yet ready to let go of, not until she discovers her new self, and can let go of the old one.
