Absoulutely Love your story,it's hard to come across doctor who OC stories which aren't basically a transcript rewrite and yours is one of the best among them. As a previous reviewer said would love to see early adventures from the doctors pov especially meeting rose though you have probably moved on from this story by now. Hope you are still writing though, any originals I can give a try?
P:S a question why do all doctor who fanfic somehow end up including Amelia Earhart? just curious.

Anyway, this story is amazing and I thank you for the amazingness that it was while it was.

I forgot how much I loved this story. It’s unique and very well written. Calypso has great chemistry with the Doctor and I love reading their interactions.

I also love how you’ve done the time jumping effect. Usually most fics that have a time jumping oc just make the character hop around the Doctor’s timeline, and honestly it’s gotten old. But yours, with Calypso hopping relative to her own timeline, basically the Doctor is moving along her timeline and not the other way around. It’s 1000x more interesting and I like it a lot. I would really love to read more if you ever come back to it.

The conflict surrounding Balzar is amazing, too. The way he is subtly in love with her, and she in some ways with him. It really freshens things up. The drama that’s manifesting from it is a great read.

I would really love to find out more about the early meetings from the Doctor’s perspective. If I remember correctly, the first time he met her was in France during the Girl in the Fireplace, but then it jumps to where he’s known her for a good while. When does he actually find out her species? How does he initially react to that? Does Calypso meet Rose? How to they get a long? At what point does the Doctor start having feelings for Calypso?

I know how difficult it is to keep up with writing with regular life and stuff, but if you find the time to take up this story again, I’d be incredibly grateful

I can't even put into words how MASTERFULLY you manage to keep the two separate incarnations of the Doctor so in character, especially in your original adventures for him and Callie. So good. So so good.

haha i figured out my login! I left you a guest review a day or two ago, and now I have rediscovered my fanfic login so I can properly like and follow this MASTERPIECE of a story. Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough how good this is. The character development on Calypso is artfully done, and I feel like a lot of fics are afraid to hold back on affection or backstory, and you do it really well. The way she refrains from engaging, the way she actually gets angry, I find it very believable. I also love how you are not afraid to change an episode if you include it. That's another major shortcoming of a few I have read; if they include a real episode, the OC's presence is just kind of observing, maybe an added piece of banter or two. Honestly, so well done. Fantastic job.

This story is one of the best Doctor Who fanfics I’ve ever read. Calypso is engaging and unique as a character. The storyline you’ve come up woth as her origin is inventive and fits perfectly within the DW universe! She’s not overpowered, she’s not a damsel, and Ihonestly buy your romance between her and the doctor more than I ever did the Doctor and Riversong (at least in the matt smith era onwards). Your OCs are great, and every original episode you’ve written has been amazing. I love the time jumps, and especially the arc in the dust bowl. Everything about this story is wonderous and amazing and so well written it’s crazy. This is by far one of the best, if not the best OC/Doctor stories out there, and trust me, I have been looking for a long while. I’m surprised I hadnt found yours before, but I’m so happy I have now! This is absolutely wonderful. The way you write the doctors is great, the flirtation, their dialogue. I can’t get over how good it is. I can tell you put so much time into writing it and i’m so grateful that you have. Thank you so much for this amazing story!

Oh this is beautiful. I read it all in a day and I want more. Like, now. I love Doctor Who's fanfictions with OCs in general, but recently I was a little bored of the same old story where she has foreknowledge. But this, this is brilliant. And it's only me or Balzar is ADORABLE in a strange kind of way..? I'm shipping so hard right now.
