It's a good story idea but the writing needs some work.

I like it

Fun story, and definitely one of the less-conventional pairings on the market! I do have a few criticisms, though. First, I think you forgot to include the actual scene where Harley decides to leave the Joker. There's a decent amount of inner monologue about how other people are nicer to her than the Joker, but it never quite gets to the point of "This is an abusive relationship, and I need to get out of it." Then suddenly, Harley gets back from shopping and she's completely set on leaving 'Mistah J' behind? Like, she even bought hair dye to help hide from him. It's just a jarring switch, since you seemed to be following the 'abused' mindset pretty faithfully until then. Not to mention that it takes all of ONE DAY for Harley Quinn to totally abandon her former lifestyle. I get that you didn't want to lay out the months of agonizing real victims of abuse tend to go through before leaving their abusers, but would have been too much to do a timeskip over, like, a week? I'm just saying, the change feels rushed as hell.

My second point concerns another rather important facet of your plot: Harley's job. I won't complain too much about her just walking into an elevator and meeting the CEO of the company (even though random walk-ins would be stopped WAY before they got to an elevator and the odds of meeting Bruce Wayne on a random elevator ride in the middle of the day should be astronomical). No, what I really want to ask is what kind of CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation doesn't already have a small army of personal secretaries? This forms the basis of how Harley and Bruce get to form a relationship, so its not a small thing to wonder about. Not to mention that Bruce KNOWS she's Harley Quinn, but still hires her immediately! We, the audience, know that she's making an honest attempt at turning her life around, but Bruce sure doesn't! All he knows is that he saw her in a clothing store one day, and the next one she's looking for a job at his company. Why is he not the least bit concerned about giving the Joker's right hand woman a job that puts her right next to himself and his kids? Yes, she says she's making a change, but the last time she said that she blew up a department store. The only way this works is if between chapters 3 and 4, we had gotten a little scene from Batman's POV about taking down the Joker in which the Clown Prince of Crime was raging about Harley leaving him, and when Bruce met Harley in the elevator the next day he was able to put the dots together. As it is, the World's Greatest Detective comes off as a naive and gullible idiot for accepting this so readily.

A beautiful and heartwarming story, I enjoyed every moment of it. The only constructive criticism I can offer is maybe to just double check some of the grammar and spelling - not a flame, I LOVE all your stories, it was just a little friendly advice ; )

I think this whole story was really sweet makes me this would happen in the comics its truly admirable I can wait for the next chapter
