Oh they did not! If they dared laid a hand on this... this... haven where I could actually belong and be comforted that at least I'm not the only one that loves the stories and... I guess Fanfiction is my family because even if we have different fandoms well... we all make the stories here.

This is Horrible. Fanfiction is the one place I belong and can read about things that never happened. Is this still going on. I may not have been on fanfiction in 2012 but now I am and if people are trying to are trying to get rid of this great site, I will do anything I can to make sure they fail. If the authors/ writers of these books/ movies don't like us writing fanfictions about their works then they should ask us to stop. The government shouldn't do this and get away with it. Stop PIPA and SOPA

They can stop online piracy and plagerism without shuting down sites. Fanfiction is not a piracy or plagerisms site. People use disclaimers on stories and we got permission from many book and movie owners to do fanfictions. The owners of faction do not allow people to create stories from authors and movie makers that don't give us permission to do so. There are people who actually violate the no plagerism and piracy rules, but it is not fair to punish the majority of the people on this site who don't violate these rules.

This is not a story. Remove it.

This needs to stop! SOPA and PIPA are going to ruin fanfictions! And fanarts! AND EVERYTHING FANS MAKE! Shouldn't the creators of video games, books, movies, animes etc. be happy they have people who will put their spin on their work?! I know I'd be! This is just ridiculous! I thought SOPA and PIPA were gone, but the worst things ever can never die. SOPA and PIPA are completely going against our US Constitution which says we have freedom of speech and freedom of press!

This is definitely NOT what the Revonlutionary War was about! For this to be happening now isn't what the men of our country in the 1700's fought and died for over 200 years ago. They fought for freedom but if these laws are passed then their deaths in that war were absolutely for nothing compared to now.

America sure is in some kind of controlling Hell because you have the government listening in on your phone conversations, watching you like a fucking hawk and now trying to take over our internet and practically telling us what we can't do! I kniw that piracy is a huge deal but taking away fanfiction is just WAY to extreme and it even makes cosplay, roleplay, and fanart illegal! Even cosplay websites!

I'm fourteen years old and if this law is passed then I could probably be facing time in prison for writing fanfiction and roleplaying on Instagram! That isn't right. It's NOT right AT ALL! Social networks like Tumblr or Twitter could be taken down and people like Pewdiepie or Smosh could totally face jail time. Even people with cosplay vids!

Besides, we NEED the internet! We need to be able to do homework, watch videos, listen to music, look up information, play games, pay bills, look for jobs, shop if we don't have the time to actually go out ourselves, keep in touch with friends or family, make new friends! If this law is passed then I am going to run away and move to Canada where I think I still have my freedom of speech and press! Either that or I am going to raise some hell in D.C. and fight to get our rights back. I may be young but I know what the hell freedom looks like and this right now in 2013... This isn't fucking freedom at all...
