This was very good, you blended the two nicely. I don't think your characters were ooc at all, I can see them getting affectionate after that. Very good, great job.

Oh, you know what the other thing is? I saw episode 2, "The Blind Banker", and you know that part where John had that date at the Chinese Circus? And there's that act about the guy getting out of his chains before being harpooned? That scene screamed Saw trap at me. That would make a great Jigsaw trap!

This is awesome! I just started watching Sherlock on Netflix and I'm totally hooked! I was just imagining what it would be like if Sherlock and John went after Jigsaw and his followers. I could imagine Sherlock thinking of ways to possibly outsmart Jigsaw or knowing what Jigsaw expects, and maybe eventually having to truly show how much he loves a good case and if he really values his relationship with John (Watson, not Kramer).

But anyway I digress, I'm mostly just talking about my own ideas. Don't know yet if you already included this kind of stuff, or if you had other ideas. I'm sure whatever you had going in this story is going to be awesome, and I look forward to reading the rest. I'm thrilled to see you seem to have put a decent effort into this story, enough to complete it. Can't wait to get around to reading it!

This last chapter is a tad cheesy, but I'm willing to let it slide, simply because this fanfic on a whole is AMAZING, I'll admit that I've never seen the Saw movies (underaged, with protective parents) but I have seen some of the traps on Youtube, so i'm glad you didn't over-describe (if you know what I mean) like I do sometimes. This was a very good idea, and you did it well. :)

This is brilliant! I love how you tapped into the side of sherlock that admits defeat to save others, just like in the RBF episode.
