Very deep fic, it really gives an example to the theory that (in the western world) the qualety of live is measured against the people we know, and to picked less fortunate friends is the easiest way to making yourself feel better

again with the insight. *sigh* this is very nice. very nice indeed.

This is my favorite kind of fanfic to read. I really like when authors get inside the characters' heads and make them more three-dimensional than they appear on screen. Characters like Cordelia, especially, are pigeon-holed as the "baddies" of shows, and it's good to know that people allow themselves to see her as otherwise.
