Excellent story. I totally loved. Everyone was amazingly in character which is great. Only complaint is the Gabby spin you put on it. That is just...wrong. Gibbs definitely has a more paternal relationship with Abby. There's nothing romantic about how they interact at all. And you'd have to be blind to see it

Wow, it was a great story with excellent characterization and a well built-up case.

What I found most interesting was the way how the others reacted to Kate's arrival. I figured Gibbs would understand and of course Abby being Abby would be thrilled by getting back her friend. :) And I like that you built a friendship between Kate and Ziva. I'd like to imagine that they'd get on well. And there is Tony... he just needed a Gibbs-slap to snap out of it and get the girl! :)

Great story; I specifically went to find Tate stories after 2/7/12's NCIS and I was reminded how much I liked Tony and Kate together. Please continue doing awesome Tate stories.

Good story so far. I really like what you are doing with the idea. Honestly, I didn't like Kate for the longest while, but going back and rewatching the first and second season a couple times, I warmed up to her.

I had a question: How'd they pull off that shot with the whole WitSec thing? I have a bit of a background in effects, so I have an idea, but I wanted to know how you felt it went down.

Another thing I wanted to note, they had MTAC as early as the late first season that I can remember clearly. Gibbs was ordered as protected from Ari by Kate in there in Twilight. I don't know, her not knowing what it is, even with your explanation (which was pretty good), bothered me for some reason.

Good story but MTAC did exist when Kate was alive. It was in the first episode.

And Ciarán is a boy's name...the female equivalent would be either Caoimhe (quee-va) or Ciara or Cera (Keer-a) or Clár (Claw-r. But say it fast.)

MTAC did exist when Kate was a part of NCIS, Tony and Director Morrow used it to communicate with Gibbs on Air Force One during the Pilot episode when Kate joined the team and she was in MTAC when the Director ordered her to protect Gibbs from Ari during twilight meaning that Kate knew and used MTAC
