3.1415926535897932384626433383 chapter 20 . 9/17/2015 Wow. This was amazing. You are a very talented writer. I love how you kept the characters true to the show, even when they were adults, and how you did Mycroft *perfectly.* You get many kudos for this work of art. |
Sue Clover chapter 20 . 6/16/2015 Well, still lots of feels. This last chapter is unfortunately AU now, thanks to season 3, but I still like it. It makes me happy. I had lots of feels, and I already said that, didn't I? It felt real, though, you know? It all made sense, how their relationship deteriorated and seeing everything from Mycroft's point of view, it all made sense, and it was sad and heartbreaking and beautiful and the ending made me happy. Thank you. |
Sue Clover chapter 12 . 6/16/2015 Sure. Break my heart, why don't you? |
Sue Clover chapter 9 . 6/16/2015 Oh, dear. The boy who cried wolf. It's a shame Sherlock was probably too smart to ever pay much attention to this story, thinking it too simple or something. Or maybe it just wasn't one of the stories in the house. |
Sue Clover chapter 8 . 6/16/2015 NNNNNNnnnnh this is giving me so many feels. There are many headcanons that different authors have about the Holmes brothers' childhood, but I think this one is quite good. It makes sense. And it's beautiful and sad and I have lots of feels. I'm going to keep reading, now. |
Guest chapter 20 . 3/11/2015 loved it. thank you for writing the story |
Weaselle7 chapter 20 . 2/22/2015 Omg look what have you done to my heart! I'm crying all through the chapters! The early happy chapters, Sherlock losing his faith in Mycroft, the talking to the skull, Sherlock returning the teddy bear, Mycroft during Sherlock's rehab, Mycroft sending him to Scotland Yard, AND ESPECIALLY THE LAST CHAPTER! Omg feels feels everything feels I'm a little ball of feelings now! I love how you describe Mycroft and Sherlock's difficult relationship, how no one but the other brother can understand about each other's rare intellectual gift, and how Sherlock grows up being a bitter man while Mycroft always tries to protect his brother. How, although they have the very same brilliant brains, Mycroft wisely chooses to play the games, while Sherlock with pride chooses not to cooperate with the mundane world. Very neatly and beautifully written! Well done, well done and keep writing! :) |
shejams chapter 20 . 9/21/2014 And this is why I love the Holmes boys. This was excellent. Your insight on their relationship is so realistic and beautiful that I strongly doubt it's not canon. Mycroft is my favorite character because he's such a cool character and no matter how difficult his relationship was with Sherlock, it's obvious how much he cares for him. Sherlock, too. :) Thank you for putting in words why we love these guys and BBC Sherlock. These chapters were so heartwarming/wrenching. But you really brought tears to my eyes when Sherlock admitted: "I never deleted anything you said to me, Mycroft. I couldn't. I could delete Mummy and Nanny and sometimes I can even delete John...but not you. Never you." Awwwwwwwwww! Loved it. I truly did! |
bookworm1945 chapter 13 . 7/7/2014 Ow. Ow ow ow ow ow. Right in the feels. |
