Intriguing start. I am a little surprised the three trust McGonagall and Poppy enough (with Dumbledore around) to all be unconscious at the same time. Then again, it helps with moving the story along. I like the glimpse of Regulus and that he's unmarked as he's a sixth year pre-Christmas. This could save him. Lily and James, I'm pretty sure should not be together yet as that happened later in the school year. Then again, that change isn't likely that big a deal. Really hope you don't plan on putting the three in Gryffindor and forcing that issue. I get the three might enjoy their seventh year in the past and wrap up the horcrux hunt. Perhaps they can save some others as well. I hope you do more with this.

Loving the story! Have to admit I died a little on the inside when I saw the last time this was updated, but I'm hoping that maybe you'll reconsider coming back to the story. I really love the idea you have going and look forward to possible future updates.

If this is the mid 70s I think the oil crisis was still ongoing when the OPEC pinched supplies in protest of something the USA did. That is why it's a dangerous game to play *buddies* with middle east nations on something critical as oil.

We have enough oil to give us 1,000 extra years but it's all under lock and key because of bureaucrats installed and most of our oil refineries were shut down in the 80s.

Time to sneak out via secret passage!
