Ok I don't know what going to happen, but the first thing that popped into my head is Dash getting so flustered with trying to stop Danny from jumping that he bear hugs him and stuffs him in a locker to keep him safe. It seems like such a Dash way to solve this issue.
(He would of course stand guard at the locker and try to talk sense into Danny, who probably just phased out the back side)

AHHHHHH! WOW that was one of the best fanfics I've read in a long time. It's wonderful and it's interesting. I love the ending, how Dash ponders about how Danny has become a stranger. That's one of the most realistic endings I've read in a while too. It seems to me that in most of the other fics where anyone learns his secret, they accept it too easily. Dash has reasonable, understandable, realistic doubt, not about the secret, but about the boy who's been posing as both the hero and the "loser." Everything he thought he knew about Danny has been debunked and unraveled... and your ending was just so good.

Well written! (though you seem to give that credit to your beta, according to your A.N. at the end) I especially like Dash's reactions to everything that happened.
