xLynchiex chapter 1 . 1/24 this is some good shit op |
Anolirak chapter 1 . 1/14 Pure genius isn't enough to describe this fanfic. I absolutely LOVED it! There's so much raw emotions here! Your descriptions are just... Perfect. Dialogue on point every time. Pure, pure awesomeness, seriously. (and the battle between Obi and Anakin? Daaamn you really know how to write fight scenes!) |
Charis77 chapter 1 . 8/10/2018 Very powerfully written and so introspective for Anakin, his thoughts and his actions are spot on. And Obi Wan as well. You have a way with words. Well done. |
Basil Allegri chapter 1 . 5/21/2018 You showed very well one of Anakin's greatest downfalls: he can't let go of people/things/events that have wronged him. And the thing is, it's a very understandable downfall. |
TheRedScreech chapter 1 . 3/18/2018 This is heartbreaking and absolutely beautiful! What angst! What magnificent emotion! This is simply stellar! Well done and thank you for writing! |
Queen Edmund Pevensie chapter 1 . 10/26/2017 this is the third or fourth time i’ve read this because it keeps sucking me in. the immediate womb imagery and the delicate balance of big and small themes and also obi-wan and anakin’s joint and separate characters -how they are both one organism but separate people, and how they are so similar but so different. i keep coming back. also at the end, in spite of everything obi-wan can let go. but the cruiser as a womb surprises me and gets me every time. that is some end-level work going on there and i love it. |
countessofbiscuit chapter 1 . 8/19/2017 "It was Anakin against Obi-Wan. Personally. Just the two of them, and the damage they had done to each other." Your angsty fics make this Stover line in ROTS sooooo much more impactful and vivid. Christ. This was good. In the worst way. |
alive by grace chapter 1 . 8/4/2017 Wow, this is the most amazing look into Anakin (and Obi-Wan's) psyche. You captured all if it so well... I wish the show would have followed up on that episode as you have. |
Camath chapter 1 . 3/13/2017 Fantastic |
GingerRogers15 chapter 1 . 5/27/2016 Wow. This was fantastic. Obi Wan and Anakin were still in character although they acted out of character. If that makes sense. During their argument, when Obi Wan shot back with that fatal line, my jaw dropped and I think my heart skipped a beat and I gasped. I was so wrapped up in this fic, I couldn't help it. You wrote the strong emotions very well. And the ending was heartbreaking. I nearly cried (which is saying something-I don't cry while reading) Excellent work here. |
Tacodestroyeravenger chapter 1 . 3/6/2016 Wow. This was very raw. I really enjoyed that you gave these evident flaws to these characters, especially Obi-Wan. It was very out-of-place and hypocritical for him to lash out like that to Anakin- which I found to be very wonderful because it gave a sense of instability to this stoic character- quite like how Qui-Gon was. I remember watching the first prequel and seeing Padawan Obi and how his behavior then was very much similar to Anakin's now. To witness a glimpse of that in this was very emotional. And the small references to Anakin's rage and lust for revenge in relation to his becoming Darth Vader... Just wow. The only difference between the two of them is how they deal with their emotions. Gosh I could talk about this all day- well done! |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/11/2016 Jesus Christttt |
Fwaerf chapter 1 . 12/27/2015 This story breaks my heart every time I read it. ;3; |
hannahsmetana chapter 1 . 7/27/2015 That was fantastic, perfect addition to cannon. Thanks |
Dreago78 chapter 1 . 6/24/2015 It annoyed me sometimes that the Clone wars would never show the aftermath after episodes like this one. I mean experiencing a slave's life would awful and there would definitely be repercussions afterwards. And one of my favorite lines from Escape of Kadavo (the comic book) was Obi-wan's apology to Anakin for not being compassionate in the past about slavery but in the tv show they didn't put that in there! AH why not? Like the number one complaint about Obi-wan is that he's arrogant and cold but that was the perfect example that he can admit his mistakes and does care! Man, they really miss those opportunities. So thank you for writing this story and putting that in there! |
