I am a english professor at a university here in Louisiana. Fan Fiction is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I had to let you know that your Conditions series is one of the best I have ever read and I will Never forget the image of John Winchester smacking Buffy with a baby Jesus out of my head. Hahaha this was an absolute delight! Buffy's decorating skills causing nauseous feelings all around, mistletoe kisses, the adorable Sam&Buffy banter, him almost not making it home for Christmas, and her thinking of withholding pie from Dean for his behavior, LOVING IT. I had a blast reading it.

To Buffy's benefit though, whether she realizes it or not, she couldn't have made a better impression on the man if she tried. lol.

On the last story. I'm surprised Spike never got to explain to buffy at least a little. Guy tried repeatedly to get in contact but was given the run around by her friends. Then of course everything with Fred etc... happened. And Winifred has the distinction of being the only real friend, who act like one, he has. I suppose the way you wrote it closure wasn't necessarily for Buffy. For Spike. I always thought if Angel kept going Spike/Fred would have happened eventually. Even if it was just a best friends type thing. Makes sense. Fred has a lot in common with his original William personality.
