Well written h/c is always a treat. I like the hints towards Anikin's future, the characterization of Dooku and Palpatine, the..."Poor Obi-Wan!" of it all. The R2-D2 POV was *amazing*! He is a cocky little bastard, isn't he?

oKAY this fic is amazing? I especially enjoyed that fight scene between Obi-Wan and Dooku...it’s really fitting and just really really satisfying? And Artoo’s perspective made me laugh out loud, so kudos to you for that!

oh ye and also I’m not usually one for “let’s torture Kenobi to the brink of the dark side” fics, but you’re making me question my morals

I love how many different ways fic writers have devised to push Obi-wan to the precipice of Darkness. This iteration is poignant and perfect. And how moving it always is to see Anakin's presence tug someone back from the brink, while he himself continues his slow, imperceptible descent.

I love this take on Artoo! You never hear any of the story from his point of view. I agree, he's probably a bit prideful, and honestly I feel like everything that he beeps is either a swearword or an insult. Especially when he's talking to 3PO

I really enjoyed this story and you have a way of writing and bringing the characters to life, they are so believable wonderful job!

Oh, I've just realised that Obi-Wan's 'happy place' must be the planet in 'Sanctuary'. That's one of the pleasures of re-reading these stories. Continuity between fanfics gives a very specific kind of enjoyment! Or else it's simply the power of the Force...

Whoa! That was a tour de force. i meant to sleep an hour ago but has to finish this. Truly truly heart rending but so well written. Obi-Wan's dream has left me drained emotionally. I think i need to work on releasing my emotions... And the reason for him not killing Dooku! Thank you for this.

Rereading the story and I must say it is a true piece of work! Love it. Everyone was in character as always though u occasionally tend to make too much mush between qui gon and obi wan your anakin obi wan stories don't disappoint. A shame dooku went evil he really is a cool character. Awesome stuff never ever stop writing;p

Another harrowing experience for our poor Obi...

Dooku nearly broke him...the death of that child nearly did him in. Thankfully Anakin arrived just in time. But the certainty of Anakins vow just shows the path is steps are leading to...and it's just what Sidious planned.

I get the drift that Sidious did not expect that Dooku could or would truly break Obi-Wan, but do enough to get Anakin pushed a little closer to the dark side...

One thing I must mention though...I loved the one part that was in R2s perspective...that was very funny. The best looking, smartest droid in the galaxy...;P, and if a droid can be adorable, R2 is it.

Loved his description of Anakin processing his data, etc.

Anyway, Obi-Wan is rescued again, not only from the physical and emotional torture, but also from himself, from doing something in anger that may have pushed him into a place he might not have been able to recover so easily from.

And somehow, I feel there is an irony of Anakin keeping Obi-Wan from doing something in the dark side...;)

I have never thought about that kind of torture. Thats awesome! (Well not for ObiWan) Its a form that is civilized enough for Dooku and not as messy as Ventress. Thumbs up.
That bit from R2s persepective was priceless btw. And Obi-Wan was perf.

Beautiful banter, kenobi dooku banter is my favorite and you don't disappoint!

Oh boy, this was brilliant. Dooku really rose to the occasion here, this was the one of the best (meaning worst) Obi-tortures I've read. Anakin's panic for his Master is always endearing, though as Mina said, quite disturbing at times too. The ending was positively chilly. And Obi-Wan, what more can I say? My favourite moments were when he enveloped the old and young Twi'leks in this warm Force blanket and then gave Dooku this much un-broken little smile :) Loved this story a lot!
