Very nice. Chuck's esteem problems caused him problems. Sad to think he's still suffering them even after he should have gotten over it.

Longer and plottier is good, but this was great! Loved it, and I think you nailed their characterizations!

Wonderful story you have written. It was a little sad to read, not because he was dying but that he thought he still didn't deserve to have Sarah (both when he was dying and after his surgery. You did end it off on a much brighter note and the banter between them was perfect, well done.
