Oooh! This made me ache for both of them! And given how some of your stories have turned out in the past, I know you're no stranger to the tragic ending. That really ratcheted up my tension, worrying how it would all turn out! I love happy endings! And this one - I could see Peter obsessing about his ability and finally leaving; I could see Sylar/Gabriel letting him go if that was what Peter truly wanted and going on with being a good person. I'm so glad you had Claire tell Peter off and then tattle to Gabriel! Because that was *so* Claire. I can also totally see Hiro letting his ability live on like that.
