When I got to the point of Harry showing Barney to good ole’ Voldemort, I lost it and I literally couldn’t stop laughing for a good 2 or so minutes, actually having tears of laughter, and I had to actually wait until it had sufficiently passed to be able to resume my reading. I know some people claim to have laughing fits for far longer than that for whatever reason, but I will admit that I’m a person with a well below-average sense of humor, and I can only remember laughing like that one other time in my life. I honestly read through the rest of the chapter still plagued by soft chuckles, but that part about AIDS brought back some full scale laughter, despite how “drained” of laughter I already was. |
