This was a wonderful end point, and I realize it's been over four years, but I would LOVE to read more of the Hawke sisters! Isabella is great as well, and I'd love to read more about Merrill. Those two definitely gotta bone.

I have to say, the way you wrote the whole Hawke family, through flashbacks, is so well done. They felt like a cohesive unit. If you have any inclination, I desperately hope you continue this story.

Hell, I would read whatever you wrote. Lying Here with You, and The Lies We Tell Ourselves are absolutely fantastic as well. I hope you return! Your work has the perfect blend of angst and tender romantic fluff.

Ooh, this story of yours was impossibly good and beautiful! I enjoyed every single chapter, and in my opinion, alternating between Lothering and Kirkwall worked wonderfully through the story, the past continuing to add depth to Kirkwall timeline. The bit with Leliana and the thoughts she shared with Bethany were wonderful ideas to add towards the conclusion of the fic, softening it from being too guilt-ridden. One of the things I liked most is how detailedly you depicted touching, even the more simple gestures. Most writers give it too little effort. Also, the way you portrayed Carver was adorable. He’s often written as such a bitch and now he was an actual person too. :) Oh, and good ending! Maybe it wasn't meant as an ending, but this is just perfect like this. I wouldn't mind a sequel though... ;)

I'm not usually a fan of incest themes, but this is an incredibly sweet story. Plus with two sisters it seems to remove all the actual downsides of incest and leaves only the social taboo downside of the thing. Which isn't that bad of a thing, but now I'm getting off topic. The real point of this review is to say how much I enjoyed reading your writing. If you're done with the story I'd like to thank you for providing a bit of enjoyment. If you decide to ever write more I'd like to tell you I'm looking forward to it. Either way I wish you the best.

I really loved whole story , the sweetness that I imagine between the two when playing the game is almost the same quality with this one. Though I hoped that you didn't mention Hawke as Marian since... I don't really like the default looks of female Hawke and by mentioning Marian name made me imagine her that way...

I kind of hope you continue the story of love between Bethany and Hawke after the Deep Road expedition or even after they reunite to oppose Meredith, they are very lacking of that story... (And I love to imagine Bethany as Circle Mage since she have sunnier mood than Grey Warden Bethany.. she looks very gloomy in Grey Warden)

The last chapter here is a bit ... idk... it feels like something is too... urh... well... heart shaped dragon bone ring? Is that what I really read? Ok..I'm rambling..

but anyway, I hope you make another about Female Hawke and Bethany... I love them especially when Hawke is a bloody funny asshole teasing her sister with jokes... Good luck

So after reading all current 12 chapters of this in a day I felt the need to review, which doesn't happen a lot with me. I just want to praise you continuously for writing this because 1. Hawkecest needs more love. 2. It definitely needs more love from people like you because your writing is just gorgeous. In every chapter I would be having to contain fits of laughter while also stopping from screaming my agonising angsty feels brought on by Bethany. 3. Your characterisation is spot on with everyone (and you call out Anders and Fenris on their often annoying tendencies which is refreshing) and I'm completely in love with your Hawke. Both the easy going joker in the flashbacks and the understandabley cold and hardened woman in the present.

I love the way this is going. Great chapter. Please keep going, this is a very good story
