In general I do not like the stories of KurtxAmanda but I love the beginning, until amanda ... xD.
But now, I think it's a very good story that you have here. I mean, I finished it and that's saying a lot.

Wait a minute... I have a heart murmur. It just means an extra sound in the heart. They are not dangerous by themselves. The cause can sometimes be dangerous though. Perhaps you should've listed the cause rather than just saying the murmur itself was dangerous, which they aren't. It could confuse readers.

Wow, just wanted to say I loved this story so much I have read it in one sitting. Its nearly 4am here, that's how much I loved it. It was just amazing You are a very talented author :)

This is something of and awesome story. Seriously, this is the kind of thing that makes reading fanfics worth it.

There was in unending amount of stuff in this story that I liked. Firstly, I usually don't bother with reading such long stories because I get bored watching the same to characters dink around for a 100k words. Not only did this manage to capture my attention for every single syllable, you actually bothered with getting us attached to more than just two characters (and though there were two who the story mostly follows, it's not a romantic relationship)! Brother Matthew was awesome.

I do however have a small bone to pick with you.

Mystique. I quite like her, so it was a bit disappointing and discouraging to see her ignored for the first twenty or so chapters, then mostly maligned from there. Which is not to say that I think you mangled writing her character, but I got a bit tired of Azazel's loathing of her, considering his treatment of her kinda sucked to begin with. It seemed that if he hadn't been hanging around glowering at her, she might've actually said something to Kurt, thereby avoiding the strained scene where she and Magneto leave.

Of course, she was also listening to the Magnetman's little speech about how she had no right to want to see her son ever again because of a bad decision she made years ago. Also, how is it that no one in this story believes in second chances? Particularly Kurt, a highly devoted catholic? I mean, really? She f***ed up (admittedly, badly) twenty-plus years ago, so she can never even have a chance to try with Kurt? Or his wife? Or her infant granddaughter?

Oops, I'm ranting again. So, maybe that was more than a little bone for the picking... (more like a long-term pet peeve, particularly with the no-second-chances thing)

Did I mention this was an awesome story? Seriously, how did you keep all the accents and different speech patterns straight?
