Yeahhhhh gettin drunk on New Years!

So... Got cut off there. Stupid phone. What I was trying to say was that I loved this fic, I really did, and that I wish my NYEs were like that. I mean, the level of drinking is probably higher for me and who doesn't like to wake up to champagne, but I find enjoying the holiday so hard.

Still, this has really changed my mind and I'm stubborn and that's not easy to do.

I love the way this is structured. I love the tense. I love Rachel jumping on Nico's back and crockery shards flying. I love that Nico can cook, which is an interesting take on him and one which I am rapidly warming to.

Also, ha. Who hasn't shouted drunken obscenities at passersby?

Just me? Ah.

Anyway, this just warmed my frozen little heart. I didn't even know it could still beat before I read this. I love the vibrancy of them and their actions and the way it contrasts with the plainer tone (don't major in English because the you feel compelled to say dumb stuff like that).

And yes. This IS what life is made of. And what life should be made of. You've made me feel jealous of fictional characters in a fanfiction, for crying out loud. That, my friend, takes talent.

So bravo. :)

So...It's been what, nearly a year since you wrote this? I read it when it first came out, but I have this habit of forgetting to review.
Anyway, I found this when stumbling through the archives. I had honestly never read Rachel/Nico before I read this, but now I do. Just saying. It's got good spelling and grammar, and as one-shot, the content is some of the best I've ever read. All in all, effing amazing.

Can I just say, I love you? This, is an amazing fic. I loved every single word of it and the love between them really gets to you. Please never stop writing.

Well, this is nice. I love a bit of well-written Rico fluff.

The present tense device is used well. That's not something I see very often, in this fandom anyway, so it's good to see it being used here. It adds a different tone to the fic, makes more like a fairytale sort of thing.

I didn't notice any grammar/spelling mistakes, and Nico and Rachel are both IC. All in all, I quite liked this: it's not overdone, nor is it too cheesy, but it is touching in a non-cliche way.
