Its been a year! Time to update!

I recently restarted my Style Savvy game in the name of nostalgia and boredom, and after avidly wishing Dominic would ask my virtual self out, I figured I might as well satisfy myself with fanfiction. I rarely do this, as I mostly come to this site to play the "Who Can Find the Positively Worst Fanfiction in Under 10 Minutes game," with my sister, which I highly recommend if you're in the mood for a good laugh that will simultaneously make you feel better about yourself and hate the majority of humanity.

I wasn't even sure if they'd have Style Savvy Fanfiction, and they were all as freakishly bad as I had presumed they would be. The words "food-related incident" caught my eyes, and I figured this one would be as hilariously awful as the rest of them. But it's actually awesome. Really awesome.

You didn't describe every piece of clothing in immaculate detail, you didn't make the protaganist perfect, (Rather, I find her quirky and enjoyable to read), and Dominic is absolutely fantastic. At first I thought he might be out of character, but then I realized this is because Dominic essentially has no personality in the game, besides being cute and too shy to ask you out. You expanded on this in a way that makes me love him way more than a pretty face, and also did this with all the other characters. I really wish you had been in charge of writing Style Savvy, because I wish all the NPCs were as interesting and lovable here as they were in the game. The next time Libby comes into my shop and starts rambling for the millionth time about how she dropped her camera or something, I will actually not resent her for wasting the time I could be using to sell clothes, because I will be able to pretend she actually has a soul, or something resembling one.

I must also add that at first, I was dreadfully disappointed I'd found ANOTHER Style Savvy Fanfic that began with a sour date between Dominic and a supermodel bitch. But you actually pulled it off! She wasn't just some slut, and the protagonist made a genuine attempt to not make her mad, rather than every other Mary Sue who rules her off as a total idiot before she opens her mouth. The whole first chapter really grabbed me, and I really loved all the drunk scenes. Mistaking the waffle for a DVD actually made me laugh out loud.

I don't usually read anything over two or three chapters, but I'm halfway through this fic and will resume it later. Thanks for actually writing a decent story. Since I don't have an account, and don't actually have an inkling of how this site works, do you have a DeviantArt? If you've posted it there, I'd love to favorite it, and maybe look at some of your non-fanfiction work if you have any. (I will read your Harvest moon one later, along with your other Style Savvy fics.) I'm Lynchly there, so if you do, please link me there, as I really have no clue how to use .

I read your original "Satin Roses" a while back when I didn't have an account and loved it. I'm excited to read this one, too! I don't remember if I left anonymous reviews on Satin Roses, but I will try to review this story, because now I know how nice reviews can be. :)
Will you write another Style Savvy fanfic? Please? There aren't enough on here! I'm working on one but that isn't very helpful when I want to read the fan fiction. I'm also not sure how often my fic will be updated because I'm focusing on a Twilight story. I know, Twilight. But I couldn't resist, I have so many ideas for that story! And. . . my Style Savvy fic is a crossover with Twilight. . . hehe. . . but just because I'm using the idea of imprints, at least I'm planning to keep Twilight characters out of it.

I like the story, but I feel like its dragging on a bit and you're including in the minor stuff to keep it a long story. But that's just me...

Are you doing something a little like both games or just the first? I have to say reading your story makes me want to write one of my own.
