before i read this i first looked at the author's I tried playing the song and reading at the same time. It was really heart-wrenching to read the story while listening to 'Time Machine' , even if I haven't had a related experience with both the song or Kiku's; the emotions from both really got to me and got me crying especially the last part you typed. That was beautiful. It really was i could feel Japan's pain and i have to admit i cried a little.

It's not often I read a lot of romance stories, but I quite liked this one. I really like writers who can pull off the relationship between China/Japan, whether they interpret it romantically or brotherly, and you're one of them.

There was a good balance between romance and fluff, and for your first first-person story (I hope that makes sense) it works really well~.
