Guest chapter 1 . 12/21/2018 Great! |
librarywitch chapter 1 . 2/15/2016 That was a perfect alternate to cannon. Well done. |
EvilDime chapter 1 . 12/20/2014 Ouch. Evil. Poor John - watching Sherlock die, building a new life with his spotter at the center of it - then watching that man die in turn, betraying him along the way. I wonder if his threat to Mycroft is just to say "stay the f- away from me" or if he is actually about to bring down the British Government himself? Going by John's personality, it's just a warning not to mess with him (and Sherlock) any further. But if it isn't - have you written a sequel? Or will you? As to camel spiders, I hadn't heard of them before. According to wiki, they are fairly harmless to humans, though. I was once on vacation on a small island and found a huge spider sat on the wall right next to my door. I asked the landlady about poisonous spiders, and she laughed at me and said: "The big ones you don't need to worry about at all! The only lethal one we have around here is so small you won't even notice it." Now *that's* the kind that scare me... Anyway, exciting story! I enjoyed reading this! - Dime |
The Wild West Pyro chapter 1 . 7/23/2014 That was sad and funny, but your characterisation is excellent. |
StoryLover149 chapter 1 . 2/23/2014 This one's intense too! Poor Watson! And comparing this to your other story when Sebastian was only a bad guy, purely against John and Sherlock, now he's so much more nicer and human (although he's still definitely on Moriarty's side). If only he turned good, he and Watson could have stayed good friends :( Anyway, this is brilliant! |
Fallacy Chan chapter 1 . 10/19/2013 Lovely. One of the better pieces of Sherlock fanfiction that I've read in a while. While I think that your characterization of John was spot on, I think the characterization of Sherlock was a little off. I can't really picture Sherlock spinning around in a wheely unless he was performing some sort of experiment. But this is still my favorite Sherlock oneshot right now! |
Inisfree chapter 1 . 10/6/2013 This is great! How did you do it? I love every word of it and I keep coming back to read it again and again and again. Definitely a favourite, no doubt! Thanks for such an awesome story. |
Werde Spinner chapter 1 . 9/24/2013 Oh my gosh this is amazing. I thought you really had killed of Sherlock, so to see him show back up again? Jaw drop. Oh, and the email to Mycroft? *pumps fist* Heck, yeah, Watson! |
steepedinwords chapter 1 . 3/2/2013 This is made of awesome. Favourite post-Reichenbach story I've come across. |
Phosphorescent chapter 1 . 1/12/2013 A unique, well-written story. |
ladybug114 chapter 1 . 1/6/2013 oh man that was fantastic! LOOOOVE it sooo much! |
nimagine chapter 1 . 1/4/2013 "Remember me. Forgive me. Forgive yourself. And live, John. SH " ...Gosh, that's potent. This story is darned amazing. Seriously. |
seishi1 chapter 1 . 12/13/2012 I don't think I have words for how this made me feel. It was excruciatingly amazing. How could John bear this? I don't think I've ever seen anything so cruel. And no one will ever understand John afterwards. |
hausos-writing chapter 1 . 12/12/2012 Very interesting and well written. I love the connections here, since it seems obvious that if Sherlock and Moriarty are 'the same' then their partners would be 'the same' as well. John and Sebastian are their counterparts compass- perhaps not a moral compass, but something to keep them focused. It's also amusing that even when Sebastian is pointing a weapon at John, they can still have a civil conversation and come to the agreement that their partners are idiots and even after Sebastian's death John still recognizes and respects him. |
hjohn302 chapter 1 . 7/18/2012 I have read this before, and this blows my mind every time. I love this. Love the idea of John redeploying, and that it helps him cope with Sherlock's death and start healing. I enjoyed the shock factor of seeing Sherlock again, and that there was the urge to hit him, faint and that the "sand" was making his eyes water. Love this line - it made me laugh out loud and gave me warm fuzzies all at the same time. "For a moment he considered just passing out, because he rather thought he was entitled, what with the shock and all, but Sherlock I-have-a-ridiculously-oversized-personal-space-bubble Holmes was actually hugging him, swaying them gently from side to side in the night wind, and it was nice." |
