This is awesome character insight and everything is perfect. I think it was really telling that Cas tried to address Dean in a celestial way (was that Enochian, this screeching noises). Cas always thought that Dean was something special.
It was a nice idea to write a fic about that scene.
Your writing was overall perfect. As I'm no native I had to look some words up which is usually a good indicator for imaginative choice of words.
I liked it all very much.
