It is absolutely no secret how much of a crush I have on the chaos/Jr. friendship and boy did you nail it. It have truly never seen it captured so well. I love it, I really do I and can not tell you how much I enjoyed this story but boy am I going to try.

First, let me just say how much I love the imagery in this story. Your descriptions are absolutely fantastic. It makes makes everything very real and now and it sucks me in immediately. Especially the very beginning. It love the way his past merged into the present The sounds, the lighting, the smells and even the protective presence of chaos are just too perfect. And for it to delve right back into that same drunken line between memory and present. Ugh! I adored it! You're killing me! You did an excellent balance between humor and angst that I've rarely seen and I love it.

Now, the very difficult task of describing how masterfully you captured the chaos/Jr. Relationship. It's so sweet it hurts, to be honest. chaos is my favorite Xenosaga character but that hasn't made writing him any easier. In fact, I think it's made him harder so I'm infinitely jealous of the way you were able to capture him. Could there ever truly be a better friend that chaos? He saves Jr. from Ziggy (and in the same beat saves him from possible alcohol poisoning), suffers through his (hilarious) cowboy antics, slurred and suggestive words, puts him to bed and even stays with him until he's sure he's all right. And although there were parts of this story that had me laughing out loud and face palming at the poor, blush riddled chaos ( it is so much fun to watch an embarrassed chaos I can't get enough), those sweet moments between them and the sweet ending where they each acknowledged their appreciation for each other...ugh. I can't. I just simply can't.

Another fantastic job well done, Aislene. I really can not express properly the love I have for this story. Bravo! Bravo! I really and truly hope to see more chaos/Jr. from you in the future.

I still wish that chaos would tell Jr. some of the crazy stuff he said. It'd be an absolute riot to see his reaction. Then again, he might not have to. Ziggy might be able to explain some of it for him. ;)

So glad I read this. I laughed nearly the entire time. The whole time I was reading it, I could just see it in my head. Every ridiculous scene. I could hear every drunken inappropriate line in Jr.'s voice. This was brilliant!
My favorite parts were: (the first) "Yeeehaaw! Go, chaos! Ride into the sunset!", that caused me to let out the first wave of laughter.

"There was something to be said for a man who worried about a girl even when he was punch-drunk." One, because that's incredibly true and I can personally relate to it. And two, because I'm obviously a sucker for anything Momo/Jr. and that was just a special moment in the story for me haha.

THE HAIR PART between chaos and Jr. - oh my god! I honestly don't think I've laughed that hard all day. 'How does your hair do that anyway?' So cute. I can just see a little curious, drunk Jr. asking that.

"...It's when a guy and a girl fall in love an' rip off each other's clothes–" I think that's how I'll explain it to my kids one day.

"If her X-Buster is any indication of how good she is, then hot DAMN! How the hell do ya walk the next day?" It's always entertaining to see how people can creatively shove Xenosaga references into sex jokes. And kudos, because that's one of the best ones I've heard haha.

And finally the ending, "Next time…I'll let you…ride me into the sunset…kay?"
I loved how this was a nice, fun, light-hearted story and you still managed to put some depth into it in the end with the flash backs of chaos and Jr. That was such a nice touch. Most people aren't good at shifting tones of their stories like that. Yours was such a subtle transition. I really felt like it brought everything together.

Overall, I think this might actually be my very favorite by you. I'd love to see more like this. It was fun to read and I'm sure it was fun to write. I really enjoyed it, if you couldn't tell by this novel of a review haha. Keep up the good work! xoxo

Aww, chaos blushing was adorable dood. _ /I love chaos, so yep, I thought it was super cute. I'm glad to see you writing about him, I think you got his character down perfectly dood, and your portrayal of Jr is as awesome as ever. chaos giving Jr a piggyback ride was hilarious as well, I couldn't stop laughing at that scene 8D. Oh Jr, where would you be without chaos as your awesome friend? _ (Probably nowhere. P) I've gone on long enough, so i'll just say this is awesome. _

I just want to say that it's always a pleasure to read your fics. Jr. is absolutely hilarious when he's drunk. Loved how his mind lived in the Wild West and how he made chaos his horse! (I totally burst out laughing at the horse reference) I also love the little detail such as Ziggy's protectiveness and Gaignun's hrm night time activity. And I have to say, at least Jr. is not that oblivious - he realized the connection between chaos and KOS-MOS!
