I heard that slugthrowers are actually pretty darn effective in Star Wars verse.
because with the introduction of the Blaster, people more or less abandoned armor. the logic behind that being that, to have enough armor to stop a blaster bolt would be enough to make a person into a walking tank, or at least severely hamper mobility.

in this, that made slugthrowers more effective, since most everyone took to wearing padding and terrain plates (knee plates, elbow plate, or other things of similar usages), which did very little for slugthrowers.

all except the Mandalorians, who as i understand it, wear armor for traditions sake, even though (again, as i understand it) it doesnt do anything to stop blasters (though it might give some light protection against slugthrowers)

It was a great fic... until you gave the Rookie a name. Then he was no longer the Rookie and he was just another OC.

Your writing is great and the character development is phenomenal. I and most likely everyone else that has read this fanfic would love a update or even a message of where this story is going. It catches the Rookies soul so well It reminds me of the Chief. I can't wait untill his past is revealed to Solo and Luke. UPDATE PLEASE. FOR THE SAKE AND SURVIVAL OF THE UNSC!

OMG Dude, KEEP going! This is phenomenal! Loving the Rookie fish out of water thing for the SW universe. You've definitely captured the spirit of all the characters and I like your modifications in the classic moments of the Star Wars universe. Can't wait to read more!
