I loved this so much. Like this hurt me so much but also made it better? I'm so glad you ended it on this positive happy note, like it leaves a good feeling in my heart and i appreciate that. I realize im several years late to the game on this fic, but a good fic is still a good fic. I really liked how the fic wasn't about everyone trying to make it up to Merlin, it was just about them realizing a little bit of what he does for them. A very good fic that I enjoyed a lot!

oh ouch. This hurt me way down in my soul. Especially the parts about Merlin losing his innocence and hating himself and feeling like he was a monster. This hurts me way down deep. I like that you're paying extra attention to Merlin and Gwaine's bond, something I felt like even the canon narration left slide eventually in favor of the overall plot. It was one of my favorite friendships, so so much of this being from his perspective and hearing him think about how much Merlin means to him. I really really love this and honestly I'm probably gonna go in search of some merlin and gwaine centered fics after this. Thanks so much for sharing!

this was great, I remember thinking it was really mean of them to steal all the food like that and then laugh while Merlin went hungry and even laughed with them... like Gwaine said some friends they were.

So I was glad to see this exploring that and Aithusa's hatching was wonderful
