Adorable! Asuma/Kurenai is definitely cuteness on steriods. I love how he doesn't do anything until "...she walks out the door with only a little smile on her face,". I really how you wrote Asuma. It is very sweet how he doesn't want to settle down but he wants her enough to "... roll with the punches." For some reason I can also imagine him not having a care in the world for his "scandalized neighbors" and sauntering around back into his house. I love Asuma too! Squee!

Wow. A beautiful story, full of humor and life and the contradictions one has to face when one does fall in love. I love the way you pointed out all the faults Asuma has which Kurenai does not like, and how unwilling he is to change - but does because he loves her.
