Welp. Seems the sequel got taken down. That's unfortunate. great fix here. it's a shame not being able to read what was left of it. especially for such a well written fic.

No idea what you were saying when you said it was garbage. your use of vocabulary and smooth transitioning between action and dialogue was absolutely impeccable. Beautiful diceiltive imagery without being gruesome. that takes some dsmn good skills as a writer. And as an avid and dedicated fic reader I know good writing from trash and this story definitely sat up near the top. well fricking done. it's a shame I wasn't around to read the sequel while it still existed.

Yay, I'm reviewing for probably no reason. I don't know if you'll see this but I just wanted to say that this fic is probably the best I've read. I don't know how you do it but I can just imagine everything in my head so vividly while reading (tho I have had to look up a few words cause I have brain damage). I could not stop reading, it's a great 'page' turner. I wanted to read more but I didn't want to finish, ya know what I mean? You probably get a bounch of reviews everyday or maybe you don't look, but if you do see this I want you to know that when I saw it said there was a sequel I got extremely excited. However from what I can tell, it was deleted which was very sad to hear. I'm such a weirdo that I started writing my own sequel. Well, that turned out to be absolute garbage. The only person who can make the good, and perfect sequel is the authour themself. Again I love your writing and this fanfic. Please if you see this could you make a sequel? Over and Out!

I'm really, REALLY late to the fanfic party (I mean so late that literally everyone else has gone home) but just wanted to let you know that this is a great fic. You'll probably never see this, but you are a great writer - you capture and convey your characters' emotions quite nicely. It's also nice to see a Ghirahim/Link story where both of them actually stayed true to character, unlike other fics - Link with his resolve and determination, even in the face of unspeakable horror - and Ghirahim not being humanized in the least, cause, you know, he's a sadistic demon. I gather from the other reviews that you've deleted the sequel, which is a real shame as I would have loved to read it. Anyway, thanks for this story. It was amazing.

hey, i know this is like 2018 and literally no one reads fanfiction anymore, but this is like my fifth time reading this and i just wanted to let you know that this is literally one of my favorite stories ever.
I gave up playing skyward sword years ago, ive beat every single zelda game except for that one (the motions controls drove me, a dedicated fencer who was trying to use actual sword movements with the wiimote, up the wall). But this story is amazing and all of the characters are written amazingly. i dont even know if youre active on this site anymore, so i dont know if youll read this, but i just wanted to say that i really love this story. sorry for the wall of text, ill go die now "

Hi! I used to follow you on deviant art and have read and re read this fanfiction from the first time I read it to present day. I have been reading since shorty after you posted chapter three just to give you an idea.

I read this despite the summary just because I only recently got a chance to play (and beat) this game, and I was looking for every bit of GhiraLink I could find.

Except the only reason I ever look for pairings like this is because I want that power imbalance and submission from a strong character like Link, and no one will fucking write that without including non-consensual (or dubiously-consensual) sexytimes, which I don't actually want, but learned to like because it was the only way to get what I actually want.

And I kept reading this, and I got to chapter 7, and I thought, "here we go, here's the rape," but Ghirahim just went "That's not going to accomplish anything. Also, ew, why would I touch a human?"

And I seriously became incredibly, indescribably happy. Out of the hundreds (thousands?) of fics I've read over many years, this is, I think, the sixth fic I've found that managed to accomplish this.

Also, when you killed the Mogma, it...well, it was sad and horrifying, but it made me happy as a reader because it showed me that you weren't fucking around, and that the chapter 9 character death you had mentioned in the author's notes at the beginning would likely be an important character, and not done off screen. And boy, did that pay off!

It sounds weird that I could get so excited over the death of a character I like, but I figured that if you were willing to kill Pipit, then maybe you were willing to let Link actually lose, and I love it when I can actually fear for the hero's life.

And then Link actually *did* lose, which is certainly not a bad thing at all in this case.

If you want some constructive criticism, there were some typos, and Fi's dialogue seemed a little too human, but these are minor failings compared to everything else.

I am sad that the sequel no longer exists, but I thank you for writing this wonderful thing, and for not deleting it even though you dislike it now.
