Love it! Well done. I like how you incorporated true history and myth with the story we all know and love. You write very well

*sigh* I love your Labyrinth stories. I hope you decide to write a long Labyrinth story again. I haven't been able to find any good Labyrinth stories to read lately. I'm starting to worry I've read them all (the fandom is small) so I decided to go back and read some favorites.

I love the tone in this one. You're great at creating an atmosphere of mystery and dark beauty.

An eerily beautiful tale. Thank you.

Daaaaamn this was beautifully written. I love the way that you managed to make it feel stretched out over a long period of time, even though it's a short story. It had weight, in the best way.

Your writing style is gorgeous.

This is a lovely journey. You write beautifully. I imagine to myself that you must surely be a professional writer now? Your descriptions are so evocative and apt. Sometimes when I read books I find metaphors that jar, as if they were added as an afterthought, but not here. I particularly loved “crumbling walls scaled and conquered by an army of moss”.

Awesome, love the interwoven real history, it makes for a spooky and magical tale. You've got my interest peaked in Yester castle too, promptly added to my list of places to visit. I hadn't heard of it I love a bit of history and living in North England it isn't too far away :)

Wonderful story, it is romantic and mystical. I really enjoyed Sarah's journey to the Jareth.

I'm not sure how long this has been in my folder of things to read when I finally had the time, but today I did, and I'm so pleased. I can tell you have a solid grasp of fae and faerie lore, and you applied it beautifully to this story. THIS is the sort of Labyrinth work I look for, and can rarely find. Grammercy for sharing.

Magical. It's like being told a bedtime story - it thrills you, chills you, comforts you and ends on an open note that leaves you in wonder long after it's finished.
