One of my favorite stories portraying the Lamia episode. I can imagine them all as a pack of dogs circling the pray. Not many fan fictions can give me such vivid imagery as this one has, well done.

It was very clever the way you actually desribed the knights as like dogs with all the animal imagery. I can think of more than one reason why Arthur might not trust the knights with Merlin if Gwaine's slipping into bed with him. Well written.
