She is a self-published authormy favourite and I'm picky, especially with writing styleand I think you would appreciate her characters. The Silence of Medair and Stained Glass Monsters are great ones to start with, Hunting is good too. I also love Bones of The Fair but it makes more sense to read after Champion of the Rose which I've never liked quite as much although it is also very good. It's very believable and gives us a really interesting look at the Grangers' mindsets, as Muggles who have a magical daughter but have also been victimized by magic. I particularly loved Severus's response to being asked if he loves Hermione. |

Even Rowling spent so much of the description of the potions master emphasizing his negative emotional side that the man's apparent brilliance took a back seat. It's not hard to understand why joining the deatheaters was attractive to him when he got so little positive recognition from the law abiding community. |
