Loved it! I thought your description was great - I could totally see the scenes in the subway, the scene in the restaurant. I could feel Sookie's unease in the restaurant and then on the platform with Amelia.

Eric was lovely. Sookie had depth - loved Gran too. Amelia was just what Sookie needed in a friend.

Loved it all the way around. Would definitely read more if you wrote it.

I loved this fic when I read it in the exchange. I spent over half my life living in Toronto and the subway is just another world...random people, random moments - sometimes awful, sometimes special - all set to a soundtrack provided by talented buskers. I once played peek in the reflection of the subway window with a really cute guy who got off the train before me and then chased it down the platform after me. I wonder what kind of story that could have been? Your story was very touching and real. Thanks! Happy holidays!
