Please update this story it's been 10 months and I can't take it anymore. Please.

As someone who worked for a time in a Geriatic Center I know families can be cruel to their seniors. Specially if they have some form of dementia. But shit. That poor miko was left for dead in the woods.

Okay when I saw this story, I actually read the reviews first to prepare myself for what I was getting into. After reading your story up to this point, I have to say I really like it. I know you've gotten flack because it has rape in it, though I don't understand why people are attacking you about it. You were pretty transparent and I would imagine that is what brought some people to your story, seeing as it is the first line of your summary. Maybe because unlike other stories where Kagome is raped, you have her aware that this is rape and it is wrong. She says it enough that the reader can't romanticize it into something else. So many other stories do the same thing, but skirt over the fact that it is still non-consensual just because we want to like the character.

Secondly I found my myself thrown off and sickened by some parts that I wasn't prepared for, but none of that is your fault. One thing in particular was when you mentioned that Rin is promised to Inuyasha, but she is like fourteen. In my mind she is very much a child because that is how she is considered in modern American culture and by the law. However, she is of marrying age in the feudal area and I think even anime touched on this before in one episode. There are countries today where she would be of marrying age. Honestly, it's weird that I'd be fine with something happening to Kagome, who was only fifteen when she went to the feudal area, but oppose something with Rin who is just one year younger. I recognize this is more my issue because I still envision 8 year old Rin in this story. You really gave me something to think on when I read that part. On a quick side note, I am surprised that Inuyasha didn't go further with Kagome when he was with Sesshoumaru. I'm typically a person who doesn't like Kagome shared around, but the scene was strangely erotic, perhaps because it was such a power move on Sesshoumaru's part.

Finally, I love the development of this story. I also love you bringing in Kye to help Kagome control her power and show us readers the extent of her power after so many years living as a priestess. I felt we could see the growth of Kagome's power when she fought the shape-shifter, but I want more. This story's far more than simple smut; the character's reasonings and purpose in this story make sense. You truly are a great writer and I hope you aren't dissuaded to finish this story based off some negative reviews. I write on this site as well and it's always annoying when you've taken time out to craft a story for nothing else but the entertainment of others, and someone who doesn't bother to read the summary, attacks your work. So I say all that to say, you are AWESOME! Please update soon :)

Terrific action scene with Kagome and the demon! It's hard for me to find an author that can write out a scene where it's well written so great work

Loving this story so far! it really seems like a perfect blend of little red and Inuyasha and your characterizations are on point.
