I don’t know if you’ll ever get to read this review since I’m 7 years too late to the party. Haha.

Well. This is one helluva masterpiece. I SINcerely enjoyed it (HAHA SINcerely, yep, that one’s intended to be punny), all the kinds of emotions you can elicit from a story—they’re all here. Although I’m no writer, but an avid reader, I appreciate the effort you’ve put into this. I can’t believe how you did it. The storyline was incredible; how you weave all characters and events was just damn good. How everything unfolded—UGH. I CANNOT. At first the POV type of storytelling you went for was kind of a drag, having to switch from one to another, but eventually it just works. There were a bunch of typos I saw, but heck, I was too engrossed with Sin. Who cares. Lol.

Character-wise, I understand how some readers couldn’t appreciate how some were portrayed. But tbh, I was sold. Hands down. Since it’s part of how you want your story to go, of course characters had to be tweaked for effective char. development. I love each and every Naruto character you used as well as your OCs. The overhauled Akatsuki members. And Haku. Oh Haku, you adorable thing. *u*

These 46 chapters are pretty much chapters that you honestly don’t want to end. But, all stories always end; and how you made yours was beautiful. Although it’s been years that you’ve last written a NaruSasu, I hope someday you get to revisit your muse for it and create new magic with it.

I know that I literally just wrote about the first chapter, but I scrolled to here and GOD I forgot this ending...it made me SOB the first time I read this and it's still making my tear up now, in the middle of writing a paper, without having read anything between the first few lines of chapter 1 and now these last few lines.

This isn't a review for this chapter so much as it is just a review for the whole fic. I think I've read this three or four times now. It's honestly one of the best pieces of writing I've had the pleasure of enjoying. The character development is absolutely masterful. Each and every time, I can see - no, feel - why the characters are making the decisions that they are, and how their individual motivations and feelings influence and drive the plot. I especially like the descriptions of the settings; I've never been to any of these places (obviously, some of them don't exist) but I still feel like I'm standing RIGHT there and smelling, hearing, feeling, and seeing what the characters experience. The descriptions of Byaku-Shinkyou before everything goes down are really what got me - I know that it's made up, but it felt more like a photograph than a story. I tend to watch books like movies in my head, and this was SO conducive to that. I didn't have to make up a single bit of description or fill any gaps with my imagination - if something wasn't impeccably described, it was not needed and soon forgotten.
Anyway. I see that you've basically disappeared from here, but so have many of the amazing writers that used to be active. Besides the glowing review, I also want to ask for permission to download a copy of this and have it bound, so no matter what happens to FFN I'll always have a copy. Thanks for the consideration, and I seriously appreciate you gifting this masterwork to the community.

I can't put into words how much if a MASTERPIECE this story was! The detail, the pace, the storyline- it was all amazing! This is by far a part of my top 5 favorite stories I have come across (and I have read at least a couple hundred). I teared when it ended. not because it was so beautiful but because i didn't want it to end. Thank you for taking the time to write this without rushing through things. Purely magical.

I'm calling bullshit. You absolutely do not get "fucking ripped" in only THREE DAYS, no mater how grueling your workout regime is. Following this fic's logic, the average person could get the body of a swimsuit model just by exercising for a week.

It's annoying how hard this fic stans for Naruto when he acts like a douche most of the time. (For example, cheating on Sasuke less than 10 minutes after the two of them hooked up for the first time.) Giving Naruto a hot, sexy body with minimal effort to achieve it is so typical of how this fic likes to kiss this lame character's ass. Instead of giving Naruto a punch to the nose like he deserved for cheating on him, Sasuke martyrs himself and breaks up with Naruto for Haku's sake. Are you allergic to criticizing Naruto, or what? The issue isn't who deserves to be with Naruto. The issue is that Naruto's a creep.

I have to say... THIS IS THE BEST FANFICTION I HAVE EVER READ AMONG THE THOUSANDS I HAVE READ!

I don't have the words to describe the perfection of this fiction. This is not merely a fiction. It can be a "Goddamn Naruto series in Modern AU". I mean, you had me entranced, enchanted and mesmerized from the first line of this fiction. It took me three days to finish this and I swear this was all I was thinking about. I usually skip all the description of buildings and sceneries but I couldn't skip A SINGLE LINE of this fic.

I have literally forgotten that Naruto and Sasuke are not together and that they are actually Shinobi and not the Leader of Senju Syndicate and Banko-Shinkyou. The way you described Haku's, Kimimaro's, Orochimaru's and Danzo's character was beyond perfect. The dilemma experienced by Sasuke and Naruto and their vow to be with each other for eternity made my heart experience so many emotions together. You made me cry, laugh, sigh with love and hate with just your words. You had me trapped with your words. Never had I ever been so hooked by a single fic. It was seriously like a drug to me to which I was helplessly and throughly intoxicated. I had even dreamt about them! I know it sounds corny and cringy but hey! I jutst couldn't help it. I told ya I was and am hopelessly in love and intoxicated with this fic.

I don't know what else to say but I have got to stop reading your fics coz if I read this one more time, I swear I wouldn't be able to concentrate on any other things in my life. I will read it again and again coz as I said : THIS IS THE BEST FANFICTION I HAVE EVER READ IN MY WHOLE DAMN LIFE!

It was full blown chaos once the first explotion went off in Byaku-Shinkyou. I couldn't help but pity Kimimaru's senseless death all for misplaced loyalty when he literally had the opportunity to redeem himself or leave wirh Jugo who poor guy now has to live with Kimimaru's death.

I think chapter 42 was highly needed. Even in canon I wished Orochimaru the biggest and most complex villian in the series would have gotten more of a backstory. We get enough to pick up on his insanity but I really wished they gave us a story like the one you've created because it makes all the dots connect.

I was sure the surprises were over but I really should have seen Kushina's real importance coming. It makes a lot more sense and also follows the canon series more accurately this way if Kushina was the real descendent of the Senju.

I was worried about Haku and Shikamaru for a second not going to lie but I was so relieved and so happy both came out alive as they deserved. Shikamaru parting ways with Naruro was also very warm and needed. Shikatema wedding* Haku also got his happy ending with Sasori of all people and he deserves the world so that made me real happy.

Jugo's death I expected and kind of hooed for because I figured that's exactly what he'd want. I feel so sorry for him and Kimimaru they had the rare chance to be together. Kimimaru is probably one of the most tragic characters since he brought on his own demise knowingly.

I was looking forward to them reuniting so bad and I was not disappointed. It was so emotional and I'm just super happy with this fic I'm glad I found it.

The telepathy thing was never explained but neither were a couple other supernatural and abnormal elements of this fix and it didn't really matter anyways the story felt full of meaning already. Awesome story definitely one of the most origional I've ever read.

I feel this is the calm before the storm. Everyone moving closer, slowly but surely towards war. Naruto's request as selfish as it was, was probably something Sasuke needed to hear and something Haku would have done regardless.

Naruto killing the councilman acknowledging he's lost some of his humanity then moving on to think about what he'll eat for dinner says a lot about how far he's come as an assassin. I don't like the idea of him this way and hopefully it won't progress but I wonder if those who love him will feel different in his presence when they reunite. His change in character aside the way you wrote that whole scene was intriguing because you even made me feel as though the killing was out of body and not a big deal.

In regards to Naruto and Sasuke the fact that Naruto seems to want to break his promise more and more each day kind of turned me off. I acknowledged the lifestyle he's living and the fact that stress levels are high but maybe I'm too much of a lowkey romantic to think that Naruto's resolve shouldn't feel like an obligation but something to eventually look forward to. These worries were put to rest though after Sasuke's sweet tape recording even when Naruto slept with the other man for information. That made me so happy I think after so much and so long those few words will probably keep Naruto in line for a while. I'm so happy they've realized their strong feelings I can't wait to see them unite when everything goes down.

It seems the ball has finally started rolling and Naruto now has Danzo to look forward to. I wonder who will be the first to die Danzo or Orochimaru?

Does Haku know how to pick 'em or does he know how to pick 'em? Poor Haku I swear he better get some loving soon because he deserves the world. I honestly thought he was going to die having served his purpose but I'm glad he'll stick around for more action. I'm also sure he's going to he heartbroken when he wakes up and finds out Naruro has left Korea. As for Sai I really thought Naruto would someone manage to convert him to their side like in canon but he went out in quite the random way.

Literally everything is going fine though although Naruto and Sasuke have to part ways they left on a pretty good note when I really thought for a second there Naruto was going to go off without getting some closure with the raven. Nonetheless I wonder how long it'll be until they'll see each other again.

Moving forward it'll be interesting reverting back to Japan and the oncoming war. There is a lot to think about like Suigetsu, Kiba, and Jugi back in "Hell" and whatever Orochimaru is cooking up in retaliation. My thoughts are also on Itachi's side of things and his preperations. I have this huge fear of either him, Shisui, Temari, or Shikamaru dying because they need eachother and my heart could absolutely not take it.

Naruro seems to be adjusting well enough to the life he now intends to lead but I'm still holding on to the hope he won't turn into this inhumane version of himself after Danzo gets his hands on him. Shikamaru seems to be an important element in this scenario where he'll play the role of keeping Naruto rooted just as Asuma did for Sasuke to a certain extent.

I'm, per usual, excited to keep reading and finishing up this fic since its winding down to a dramatic end but also getting to see where Sasuke and Orochimaru are on the other side of things.

Did chapter 26 really just happen holy shit. Nothing much to say about that besides I'm excited Jiraiya joined the picture and both boys seem to accept their not so secret prefrences.

Although Jiraiya bailed the boys out I wonder if the gang and Haku's throwing knife left behind will come back to bite them in the ass. On top of that now they have a more intimate relationship and with Naruto's thoughts left unsaid it leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

I was glad to see Haku finally start thinking and acting for himself but I was just as disappointed in him and Naruto too for doing something so sleezy both aware Sasuke was not going to like what they did behind his back. Giving it a second though however when Haku stood up to Sasuke I was so proud of him. in fact I expected Sasuke to encourage the competition not well...quit like he unfortunately seemed to.

I must say they keep going back on their feelings and as annoying as that is this time seemed like Sasuke was determined to forget Naruto and it made me so sad. I wonder what will happen next and who the double agent is. All the same I feel even worse for Haku who now has nobody but Sai who I suspect is Orochimaru's spy...I'd hate to see Haku get hurt even further but I have a bad feeling.

The distance between Sasuke and Naruto now is so painful. I can't help but feel that Naruro will leave without resolving things with Sasuke. And where will that leave them then?

One last thing I wondered was that if Shiktema follow Naruto (bless them) then Haku will be left all alone basically. I have no idea what to expect but I'm looking forward to it.

Wow Sasuke is warming up to Naruto in more ways than one. It seems a little fast to me but Sasuke is definitely making changes for the better. Naruto now has a reason to stay as well so I'm guessing all thats left is to recover for these boys before they go start a war.

I assumed Sasuke's good behavior was a constant thing until the fight on the roof with Naruto. As expected he still has darkness left within him but the growth is seen in the fact he himself realizes this and acknowledges it as something negative. Naruto also grew a lot from the fight and it wasn't something I thought he needed but it really was.

Something interesting I also noticed was that everyone in this fic is religious in some way. A huge theme in this fic is obviously religion yet because of all the dark stuff I thought surely a few people would leave faith alone and be athiest or despise religion. That's obviously not the case though and its just soenthing I noticed these few chapters.

Both boys are so frustratingly and annoyingly dumb I swear recurting around their feelings for one another. One moment Naruto acknowledges he find Sasuke attractive the next he is in denile. Then Naruto sucks on Sasuke's neck but he wants pussy. Lmao its gunna be so funny when they finally get their shit together. I feel towards the end of this chapter Sasuke finally realized he'd miss Naruto. He should probably ask Itachi for advice tbh.

Naruto now has a big choice to make on top of every thing and I wonder if he'll stay or go and whether Sasuke would be willing to go with him.

Gudan happened a lot faster than I anticipated. The whole thing was actual chaos but its so exciting to see most everyone come out alive. Asuma's death was a little expected but I'm curious to see Shikamaru's reaction in future actions.

Although I caught how close Sasuke was to Asuma I did not expect such a strong reaction towards his death for some reason. I think Asuma's death may prove to be a life changer for Sasuke. If he truly intends to live up to Asuma's hopes then that means Sasuke's going to have to reevaluate his values and morals. I can't wait to see his transformation take shape.

The whole setting and situation of this fic just took a completely different turn. There is a lot more room for potential development and I can't wait to see how this group adapts to living together. I'm hoping Sasuke grows morw as a person and that Haku finds happiness he's so soft and pure.

Naruto leaving the crew sounds like something anyone in his position would consider. At first thought it sounded logical but of course Orochimaru is not dumb by any means. Itachi's request on top of that for Naruto to protect Sasuke is indeed quite selfish. I feel bad because he's thinking of Sasuke but no one is really thinking of Naruto besides maybe Shikamaru.

Sasuke rejecting Itachi and Shisui is also super heart breaking. Itachi deserves so much after all he's done. I'm glad this is a long fic because Sasuke needs a long way to go in order to be a person not solely influenced by Orochimaru's twisted teachings. Although he gave the time of day to Itachi I wonder if he really accepts them.

Ooo I really should have seen Itachi coming but I actually didn't consider the possibility that he was alive because it was barely hinted at. I'm sure this will hurt Sasuke but maybe it'll finally set him straight.

I'm so proud of Sasuke when he refused Orochimaru though that was awsome! I was also surprised to read Kimimaru's point of view. The poor guy is fucked up but he really consideres being kind to Sasuke for a second there so that was interesting to see. I hope he find a way to escape the hold Orochimaru has on him.

It's so sad though to hear Itachi's inner monologue regarding his regrets with Sasuke. As an older sibling I would also never forgive myself if my younger brother or sister turned cold and uncaring when they were once soft and innocent. I'm sure Itachi's sacrifice was not in vain but I'm interested in hearing his whole explination.

I also wanted to mention the ongoing theme of sin (obviously) that is present throughout this fic so far. To me its especially interesting how everyone seems to have their own interpretation and ideology of what a great sin is. Itachi made me realize this when he mentioned leaving Sasuke behind as his big sin.
