This was such a fantastic story, I don't know why it took me so long to find it. I'm sad you have so few TWD stories. I love the Daryl and Carol you've created, but really, the best part was how Merle left the story, I wish this was how he went out on the show, though I guess in some ways the idea was similar, protecting his little brother the best way he could!
