It's a good oneshot but I have one nitpicky Japanese thing: You have Ichigo wondering whether what Orihime wrote was his name or the Japanese word for strawberries when he should be able to tell right off the bat since the Kanji in Ichigo's name and the Kanji in the Japanese word for “strawberry” are not only different, but Ichigo's name has two characters while the Japanese word for “strawberry” only has one.

I won't hold this against you though because you obviously didn't think about that. Spelling and grammar of actual Japanese Kanji isn't something a normal fanfiction author tends to think about, after all. For all I know you probably thought the two meanings were interchangeable in writing because they were pronounced the same way.

Lol I liked the "red bean paste man" thing! That was cute! And i loved the ending!
