Oh, boy, I'm loving this story of yours! :) :) I'm loving the new characters, especially Fei Cui Huo :), the way the premise is executed, and I look forward to seeing what'll happen next chapter, which hopefully won't be too long. Personally, I feel this story deserves the same amount of attention as 'A Shadow of the Titans'.

I genuinely love the new villain/protagonist villain you've created with Fei Cui Huo - she's evil if a bit less vindictive and treacherous than Shendu, and she's also really funny and a bit crazy. :) :) I love the running gag with her vanity-obsession with large breasts. I turned RED IN THE FACE WITH LAUGHTER at the Windswept Mounds Diversionary Tactic's use in the shop (even re-reading the tactic's name makes me laugh out loud!) :'D :'D (I literally had to control my vocal chords to avoid disturbing the whole damn house! :'D :'D :'D I also rather love Fei's witty and sassy moments, like after she gets freed from her jade-statue form. :) :) I'm not sure how many fictional characters could successfully pull off Fantastic Racism the way Fei did when altering Viper's appearance. :) :) Also, I rather love her moral relativism when she discussed shifting human morals with Jade and Viper (I don't meant that in relation to racism). Yet as funny as Fei can be, especially with her vanity, I was genuinely intimidated by her in the Inner Room scene where she had the fan while interrogating Jade. :o :o (I think I'm starting to crush on Fei, actually. :))

I rather like that you're giving Tso Lan a rather prominent role in this story, because he always was my favourite demon-sorcerer. :) :) It makes me look forward to seeing what'll happen when his demon-portal is opened and what role he'll play. :) I also very much like that in this newest chapter, you showed the demon-sorcerers' reaction to Po Kong's re-banishment, whereas in the cartoon it seems like Shendu and his siblings all just didn't bother addressing what would happen to the demons who were permanently re-banished until after all of them had been re-banished. Whereas it seemed in canon that Shendu had kinda earned his siblings' wrath, the demon-siblings' ill-treatment of Fei from the moment they found her in the past makes me look forward to seeing her show them who's boss. :) :) I chuckle at Jade leaning on the fourth wall when she commented on how ugly the seven demons in the Netherworld look and it being censored in a cartoon - when picturing what the demons must really look like, I imagine X WH's and Dainis Novitskis' ArtStation art and Vincent-Covielloart's DeviantArt pics. :) :)

I like that you gave an origin story for the eight demon-sorcerers, because I always was a bit frustrated that the show never explained where the siblings came from - I was surprised to see in this story that I'm not the only one who had the idea that the demon-siblings could've originally been pieces of an even more powerful being who was divided into eighths that formed independent demons. In that respect, to be honest; the flashback's description of Fei Cui Huo's birth with the volcano makes me want to know what kind of elemental phenomena the other seven demons were born in in your universe (it always makes me want to know about the other demons when fans' headcanons explain what being they came from but only go into details about Shendu/the Fire Demon's birth). I'd especially like to know what kind of event birthed Hsi Wu - if Tchang Zu and Xiao Fung were probably born inside thunderstorms and cyclones, what the hell kind of phenomenon could have birthed the Sky Demon? (I can't imagine him just popping into being in the thin, open air of the stratosphere.) I'm curious to know if we'll find out more about Shenron - did it have a physical form before it was divided into the elemental pieces - and about the opponent who divided it. Also, the reference to Fei's escape from the Netherworld after the demon-sorcerers were banished by the Eight Immortals makes me wonder if this story will reveal how she pulled that off.

Regarding Viper, Jade and Fei's triplex-situation; when reading this story in 2020 after watching 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters', those three are making me more than once imagine them forming a certain gold-scaled, three-headed lightning-dragon. :'D :'D ONE MORE THING! I'm gonna be the drunk guy saying stuff in this case so I can give feedback on your use of TF by bluntly saying, I actually found the scene where Fei performs the alterations on Viper's body, shall one say, physically exciting.

Speaking on what I think of the other characters: I feel like there's probably going to be some kind of friendship between Jade and Ratso in this story, with how he enjoys cartoons alongside Jade in Fei's statue form from the alternate timeline's get-go, and with how he's the one Fei took to the mall. :) With the way you wrote Tohru's perspective, I could genuinely see the potential for good that his original-timeline counterpart fulfilled despite him still being a villain. I was surprised by but loved his 'Even Evil Has Standards' reaction to the idea of letting Po Kong devour Tokyo, even if it wasn't that much less selfish than his original-timeline decision to quit Valmont, since it was concern for his mother rather than the thousands of others that caused his Heel-Face Turn. I find myself slightly disliking Shen, probably partly because of how he's so far just a genderbent replacement of Jade who got Viper sent to prison in the mirror-timeline, but I also have to wonder if it's just me or if Shen is a bit more bad-tempered than Jade was, like Shendu (fitting how Fei is mischievous like Jade and less psychotic than Shendu). At first, Lefevre just seemed like little more than a mildly-interesting extra to me, but after her backstory explanation this chapter, I find myself really liking her character (and relating quite a bit to certain bits). :) With the way you wrote Po Kong grabbing Lefevre after Viper rejected Lefevre's offer to help her, I thought for a moment you'd killed her off, and am still honestly unsure if Po Kong has really eaten her or she's still alive at the end of this chapter. x) I loved the moment where Lefevre was calling Jackie out over the phone for vainly trying to keep Shen out of trouble - honestly, Jackie's unyielding "for your own safety" treatment of Jade in the show no matter how many times she proves herself, was one of the multiple reasons why I never liked him. (I find him as you write him in this story and the bits of 'Queen of All Oni' I've skimmed, where he has some real practicality and logic behind his prejudices, more likeable.)

You still display as great a sense of humour in this stoyr as in 'A Shadow of the Titans' - aside from the great running gag with Fei, breasts and vanity, I also chuckle at the noodle incident with the Enforcers and the escaped goats, :) Fei finding out from Jade about Uncle's Pan'ku Box-locating book, :) and Jade abusing the Monkey Talisman while she was stuck in Fei's statue form. :) I loved the Tiger Talisman's use by Jackie and Ratso in the alternate timeline's battles - I always loved Jackie's yin- and yang-selves more than I liked the complete Jackie. :) :) Ratso bringing up Scrooge McDuck when the Dark Hand were in Fei Cui Huo's palace makes me giggle out loud :'D :'D - I wonder if it was Fei pulling Ratso's leg or if it was Jade in Fei's statue form that made Ratso think that about dragons and gold. :'D :'D Bai Tza knocking her Earth Demon brother aside like that when Jade and Fei first confront the demon-sorcerers in the Netherworld makes me laugh. :D :D

This story has confirmed to me after the latest chapter that I do love reading fanfictions that follow the Demon Portals story arc but pull a new AU spin on it, and I look forward to seeing what happens next when Tchang Zu or Xiao Fung's demon-portal is opened next (whichever episode you think chronologically took place first x)).

Onto speculation. Considering the implications about the Mirror of Fate and its relation to the Book of Ages, I look forward to seeing what'll happen after the eighth Demon-Portal is opened and the demon-sorcerers resort to using the Book of Ages (depending on how much things change and how much they stay the same in relation to those events). I feel like Jade will try to use the Book to restore her reality but won't get what she wants. (P.S. I love that you're seemingly changing the Book from 'I Thought It Was Forbidden' to a genuine Dangerous Forbidden Technique with the implication that the Mirror of Fate's use on Jade and Shendu is a direct consequence of them tampering with the Book previously - I wonder if that hooded figure actually wasn't just creating mischief but was actually punishing them per the order of the universe. I also wonder on the same line of that, if the fact Paco himself tampered with the Book when he and Jade squabbled over Jackie and El Toro's size is the reason he's genderbent in the new timeline.

I've read on TV Tropes that the figure who talked with the hooded woman is supposed to be Dr. Strange, but I wonder who the woman herself is - I at first wondered if she's an alternate older Jade (if she's one of the ones who got turned into a Shadowkhan, it could explain the eyes), but when reading the first chapter last, I wondered if she's a future version of Midnight from 'Jewel of Darkness' (again the eye colour, and the basic costume aesthetic would fit, assuming Midnight's blinded eye still glows).

Regarding Fei Cui Huo's suggestion that she could assimilate Jade into herself and merge them into a single being, I wonder how that story arc will progress and ultimately end, particularly in contrast to Zhu Chan and Kagehime's merger-arc in 'A Shadow of the Titans'. :o I don't know how this story will end, but somehow, whether the mirror-timeline becomes permanent or a third timeline that's different from both the mirror-timeline and original gets created; I somehow can't see Jade getting the old reality back. ;) Speaking further on my speculations about Fei, I'm wondering if she really doesn't know about the magic that created her timeline when she mentioned it to Jade in the Inner Room. Demons Lie after all, and the demon-sorcerers were knowledgeable on the Book of Ages in the original timeline, and Fei does seem unconcerned about something that could create or destroy entire timelines based around her/Jade - I'm wondering if Fei does know about the Mirror of Fate from when her and Jade's memories were open to each-other in Fei's spirit form, but she's keeping it from Jade to try and get Jade to cooperate with her. :)

I'm wondering if Shendu will become active inside Shen's mind just like Jade has in Fei's - or if he's already active and is secretly pulling Shen's strings. :O :O And I'm wondering if Drago will have a counterpart in this timeline - will it be Fei's future Fire Demon spawn, or will it turn out Shen's adult self in the future turned to the dark side in this mirror-timeline in contrast to the original timeline's Future Jade. :o :o Speaking on that same line of that, considering that Jade seems to be oblivious to the possibility that Shen doesn't have any memory or idea of being Shendu the same way Fei only knew about her and Jade's relation after Jade's consciousness woke up, I can see a tragedy looming if Jade doesn't work it out soon enough and winds up taking action against Shen. I'm also wondering when the Chan Clan will find out the truth about Resident Number Three in Viper's body - it's probably worth noting, that whole the-heroes-don't-know thing can be a good arc in stories, but I find it can get a bit exasperating if it persists for too long with regularly-appearing Hero Antagonists.

I'm wondering after Tohru has turned himself in, if he'll still join the Chan Clan, or if Shen's replacement of Jade will lead to Tohru getting thrown in prison just like with how Shen prevented Viper's turn to the light side. I'm also wondering if Hak Foo will be joining the Dark Hand now that Tohru has made his Heel-Face Turn, or if someone else will be the fourth Enforcer. (Maybe Fei will force Valmont into it :'D - then again, they've technically already got an extra member onboard with how Jade is also in Viper's body with her and Fei.) I'm wondering if Viper will still turn to the good-side eventually, or if after she let Po Kong have Lefevre in this chapter she's going to remain on the dark side in this new timeline despite Jade's hopes (especially now that I compare the contrast between Viper's Redemption Rejection and Tohru turning himself in, to Jade and Viper's contrasting reactions in 'Queen of All Oni' to their Shadowkhan transformations at the end). :o

One of the main complaints I have with this story is, the way the mirror timeline started with Fei's statue form and then skipped straight to Fei's revival did to me seem rather glaring - I feel like it would've been better if, after the timeline-reset, the story had opened with Fei's origin-sequence and her revival.

Overall, a great story so far with a funny, quippy and affably-evil (and kinda hot :)) protagonist in the form of Fei Cui Huo, and I'm loving what you're doing with this temporal-reset, switched-places premise that Jade is going through as things both change and stay the same. :) :) I do wish this story could be updated more frequently, but I'll still patiently and ceaselessly wait years between each chapter if I must so long as it goes on. I look forward to seeing what happens next. :) :) :)

Fei, Jade and Viper sharing body is comedy gold. Fei is very different from Shendu thanks to which story don't feel repetitive in any way. Her vanity and desire for entertainment are really interesting to watch. While she do what she want she acknowledge that others may have better ideas and is willing to listen. Fei being more generous and true to her word make people much more loyal to her which make things work better.

We learn who is Lefevre, solid story and motivation.

Shen obviously isn't faking like Jade suspect him so I think that he shares body with Shendu that is currently unconscious.

I have no problem with skipping Demon Sorcerer parts especially if it isn't too different from canon. Po Kong is especially bad because her only power is size and her personality (lazy glutton) also don't have much opportunity for good story. Hsi Wu powers also are lame in comparison to brothers but at least he is cunning and makes up with his personality.

Two most important things that happen in this chapter in my opinion are Jackie learning about third personality and Tohru defection. It open lots of possibility. Jackie may ask about third voice. What they will ask will be definitely location of hideout. It make possible for skipping other portals of heroes win. I wonder if Tohru will be used as a double agent.

Take your time with writing. I am excited to learn what will happen next but I understand that quality require time.

Hey it’s back! I had to reread it to figure out what was going on, just to be reminded about how much I like Fei evil-Viper and ‘Mischief demon‘ Jade. Would you consider Fei to be ‘Jade’ like in your other stories? Or is the eventual merger result to be the Dark Jade we all know and love?

Fei look more competent and less backstabbing than Shendu. Look like her primary flaw is vanity.
Things being different than canon are good for story but bad for Jade. How much of her knowledge is useful? I was hoping that good guys will lose cards in mask hunt and will be asking her.
Your OC Pi Lefevre is well explaind without monologing GJ.
I like how temple fight was showed.
I was thinking that if in seson 3 final, resurrection give us twins and Jade geath dragon power it woud be hilarious.

Sharing mind with Fei is good explanation for villainous actions. I hope Jade will not be pushed to the sidelines too much.
Do I understand it good that curse will be broken automatically after last portal? Viper as a host is cool idea. Is Fei naturaly pragmaty or it is Jade do it to her? Brilient move with the lie so Dark hand ignore Jade.

Showing hunt for talismans in such way wasn't bad.

We never saw demons past in canon so it is interesting. So Fei was weakest without talismans. But i thought that all 8 demons were sealed. They talk like them with joined forces to free Shendu so he free them. But it look like that story hawe difrenc from canon so i leabel it as one of thos differences.

Fei past overwhelming Jade is good explenation for her aktions. Is Shen and Shendu like Jade and Fei? I like Black destroing golems. Using sheep to become ghost instead of death is cool idea.

It look like for me that Watcher do it because she has to, not for fun. Jade talk with Valmont was funny.

I found all the breast stuff to be really weird and uncomfortably to be honest, besides that though I do love the alternate hero team, Jade's reactions are great and her realizations were very well done, neat stuff with the paranoia.

I appreciate how Jade's personality as the original demon is leading to ripple effects.

I have to say that even from the original series, I wanted to hear Shendu accuse Jade of murder. Having the roles reversed, I wonder if Jade will try to waylay Shen by pointing this out.

I really like the revealed changes to the JCA world this chapter. Not just Rosa but this new character Lefevre. I look forward to finding out more about them as the story goes on.
