Reviews for Yearning
Iuvsbruce chapter 1 . 9/24/2017
I am really looking forward to getting to these episodes. I have seen all of Supernatural before, but your stories have me REALLY watching the show for the first time. I am finding myself getting more and more attached to the brothers and the faithful few. Thank you for bringing it even more alive for me. You're AWESOME!
AnastaziaDanielle chapter 1 . 2/1/2016
This one hit me right in the feels. Thank goodness for happy endings! :) I'm sure Sam and Dean could have an epic marshmallow battle.
Fi Suki Saki chapter 1 . 1/23/2015
I love how it told the different before and after all of it ! xD
NoilyPrat chapter 1 . 11/24/2014
oh WOW *breathe*

The difference between the two years is phenomenal! (even if I can't spell...)

Great Job!
Magnusrae chapter 1 . 12/12/2013
What a warm and fuzzy ending. Loved it! But what made it sit right was that the whole thing wasn't as sugar coated as Sam's sweet potatoes. I really liked that you took the time to compare the two years and showed how the events had affected them all. The dialogue at the end was spot on for the characters too. Thanks for the Christmas story!
sapphireswimming chapter 1 . 4/25/2013
Well, wasn't that a stark contrast from one year to the other? Wow. They all have so little that it's sad seeing how they all fall to pieces when part of their small group is missing and the rest of them are blaming themselves.
Katiki chapter 1 . 1/24/2012
Awww. Sadly I didn't get to read this over the holidays because my computer went kablooie and it took me a while to get a new one. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed it, it kept until January. I loved all the little details that evoked so well how tragic or happy their Christmases were. And I think this line is a perfect nutshell description of Dean's year with Lisa: "...and went to play his part."
Rolletti chapter 1 . 1/9/2012
I love the images you've painted for us all to see as we read this story. The visuals in my minds eye is amazing, especially the end, bringing them all back full circle with a happy Christmas. The marshmallow fight brought a silly grin to my face after a long day. Thanks for that.

Rolletti :)
LittleLurker chapter 1 . 1/6/2012
Thank you!

I liked how you described the two Christmases and how you showed that all of them (even Sam without a soul) were sad, missed what they'd had before and in case of Bobby and especially Dean anguished. Dean's broken conversation with Lisa (& Ben) really was heart-wrenching and I also liked how you had Castiel observe his "acting" from Heaven.

And, of course, I only liked all of the above so much because your story came with a happy ending reuniting all of them: Sam and Dean and Bobby and even their "very own Christmas angel" Cas. Beautiful story and even a more beautiful ending. ;-) ...but with you I didn't expect anything less, since you're a master at story-telling and your endings are always way, way, WAY better than anuthing Chuck could come up with.

I hope you had a nice and peaceful Christmas, including a stressfree holiday season, and that you had a good start into the New Year. May it bring you lots of joy! D.
JazzyIrish chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
A very belated blessed Christmas to you as well. Thank you for sharing this heart-felt story of how having those you love in your life makes all the difference. I wish the "Christmas 2011" is what we could have had in canon instead of what we are left with currently. :( But I loved the scene set in that Christmas - what great memories to cherish for all of them.

Wishing you a New Year filled with health and happiness. And thank you so very much for the gift of your stories this past year. I can never say that enough! Until next time...
AZGirl chapter 1 . 12/29/2011
The differences between the two Christmases kind of made me sad, but since the guys were together at the end, I still enjoyed the fic...

Blessings to you for the New Year!
Madebyme chapter 1 . 12/29/2011
This was a joy of a read (and it would have been even better if I'd had the time to read this before Christmas - my apologies).

I loved you used the closing scene of 5.22 as a Christmas family meal with Dean, Lisa and Ben and how you explored how each character spent their 2010 Christmas - the loneliness and emptiness of a holiday without family.

But then the end section felt so much more festive because everyone was together and spirits were high. I liked that balance, the bitter-sweetness of it and how important family and friends are in the holiday season.

Thank you this, it was a treat! Take care and wishing you all the best for 2012, Abbi

masondixon chapter 1 . 12/28/2011
Now this was a very NICE story :)

Thank You.
Nana56 chapter 1 . 12/26/2011
Aww. A good Christmas...just what they all need. Good to see Bobby, too. Lots of water under the bridge in the last couple of years and to have it all good is soooo nice.

Loved it. :)
