I almost cried... but what I am disappointed about is: WHERE IS DAT DAMN PONY? Don't take that as an insult

Ouch. Ouch. I actually cried. I cannot convey how beautifully cruel this fic is. That ending just hurt more than I expected. It's such a powerful portrayal of the Colonel's tender, more loving side. It shows a Mustang who really, truly cares for Edward; and the boy doesn't realize just HOW MUCH he means to his superior officer until it's too late to thank him.

It was like "Yay!" And then, "WHAT IS THIS LIFE?" It was good. :,)

Well then. That took a rather sharp turn for the worst. Really good- I love your writing style! - but that ending was kind of a punch in the gut.

I'm crying so much right now. That was absoulutly beautiful...
