I love this story. I feel like you perfectly captured the essence of what Vash was feeling and how Meryl responded to the feelings he expressed. I feel like this could have happened in the anime, and honestly I wish it would have because you just nailed the overall Trigun mood here. Great work! Thanks for posting!

Oh. This. This was so good. You write very skillfully. I've only seen the anime, not read the manga, but this seems so very close to the way the characters were portrayed. You did such a good job showing how broken he was after the Legato incident, and how you "fixed" him, at least temporarily, was very heart-warming and tender. I enjoyed it very much. I think it might even be the best fanfic I've read in a very, very long time.

Beautiful rendering of Vash and Meryl. Theirs is a poignant relationship, especially when you consider the implications of him not aging and her being a mortal woman.

This was wonderful to read. I love V/M and WAFF, and this story was a perfect combination of the two. I do hope that you write more for this fandom.
