This was a very lovely Christmas fic. I loved that both Gene and Alex were nervous about giving each other their gifts. Very cute.

Rant writing FLUFF? My gob has never felt so smacked. Seriously, though, this is a delight - you get right under the skin of the characters in lighter mode as much as you do in tragedy, especially Alex's eccentric insistence on lying upside down, Gene's reverence over the bottle of Glenmorangie and later over the lovely gift of the cuff links, and, of course, the lovers' eventual yielding to their feelings. Lovely!

Love the story... it's great -I could just imagine Alex upside down on her couch. Rather an amusing image.

can't wait to read more of your stuff. I think this is the first story I have read that Ray has actually gone up to Alex's Flat. :D
