i remember seeing heterochromia is finally finished a while ago? but i was too busy to read everything. but now that quarantine got me jobless i decided to reread every single chapters (mostly because along the way i've forgotten bits of it).

and I'd just like to say, even years after i first read this, it's still one of the best fics i've ever read. wonderfully well-written and it's like every single words you wrote down were carefully planned? which is really nice.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for writing this piece of art. I think you did Zero justice he didn't get in the manga. I fell in love with how you potray the possible "happily ever after" in the end, for it is not too much (if you know what i mean).

I also absolutely love how you write about Ivy's relationship with other character beside Zero. Many OC's writer unable to insert their character entirely into the story and when you read it, you could feel that the character does not 'belong' there. But you completely able to engrave Tashiro Ivy to Vampire Knight story that I no longer could separate them anymore.

You beautiful human being. You created an OC for my guy and you did it for the exact same reasons I’m thinking of writing a fanfic for. Vampire Knight possess the unique disposition to be both beloved by me and completed hated and I think the author did that on purpose. Her idea is that Zero and Yuki are soul mates but that neither believe they are worthy of the other and so… their love takes a long time. And yet, Yuki also feels unworthy of Kaname- BECAUSE DEEP DOWN SHE DOESN’T LOVE HIM THE WAY HE THINS SHE DOES.
She’s an absolute twonk!
I cannot forgive how she is incapable of sticking with her choices or making choices that don’t destroy hearts. Of realising how they make her intolerably unhappy. Of- you know what, you know the issues. You KNOW them. Ergo, this beautiful fic.
I… okay, for me, Yuki was too young (mentally) and too ignorant to be choosing who to love in the first half of the manga, but the second? Everything she did- EVERYTHING drove me nuts. She’s an idiot! And cruel and telling the audience that she’s lovely with pure sunshine shining out of her every orifice for theoretically and intentionally two-timing Kaname with Zero and vice versa is beyond the limit. I don’t need her to be perfect. I just need her to stick with her choices. And if she realises it’s the wrong one, to then fix that choice: not to twistedly pursue the bad and forsake the good, knowing that she couldn’t leave the good (Zero) alone anyway… I felt supremely sorry for both Kaname and Zero by the end. If I were Yori, I’d have given Yuki a gigantic slap. We were supposed to feel that Zero and Yuki were this tragic couple torn apart by outside forces – nope. Just a girl who couldn’t stick with her choices. She was born into a world where her life was decided for her and instead of doing what would make her happy, she simply followed like a sheep. BREAK THOSE CHAINS YOU DIMWIT.
So it’s a difficult choice. So you love them both. So you’ll have to live with the result. You realised too late (manga) that Zero’s blood and only his blood quenched your thirst but you still chose Kaname. She had sex with him knowing she didn’t love him like she did zero… I mean, what the hell? What was that for Yuki, pity sex? Was it Kaname’s last shag before he goes to die? I could go on.
And yet I can’t let the manga go. The story is haunting and the drawings are beautiful. I love Zero. Love him. LOOOOOOOVE him. And now I wish Ivy was part of the manga: the total opposite of Yuki. She defied so-called fate, did everything she could to make sure the man she loved was happy and didn’t obey when told to stop. Someone who doesn’t hide from the truth and seek sanctuary in the arms of lies.
Arguably, Zero and Yuki and their own worst enemies. Zero pushed her to Kaname and Yuki ran to him when her feelings scared her. And Kaname, well… he’s kind of twisted.
And your OC’s! Powerful figures. I need to re-read.
But mostly, I just need to thank you – there are far few well written fics such as this. Can I ask whether you’d write a oneshot about how Zevy discover they’re going to have a kid? I’m ridiculous but I NEED IT.
You make me want to write my own, you really do.

OKAY FIRST OFF once I saw the notification for the update in my email I had to take a moment because the time has come! But wow, seven and a half years...that's both amazing and it honestly doesn't feel like that from a reader's perspective. It legit feels like we just started off Zevy's slow burn romance yesterday. That being said I read through the chapter with a whole ball of emotions and went through a ride.

Starting out the update with Ai's perspective was actually an enjoying moment to read through. I had been wondering how you were going to put a spin on her dynamic with Zero considering Ivy's in the picture so having her have an unrequited love towards him seemed pretty logical. Through her eyes we got to see how outside one-sided love interests view Zero, but also emphasize how much he truly, truly loves and treasures Ivy (as if we had any doubts lol). Also, when Zero said "she wanted some distance" and mentioned he had thoughts about something he couldn't talk to her about my mind immediately went "buddy boy's thinking about their future isn't he? like marriage and the whole nine yards?!" since we haven't seen the proposal scene but I also thought "maybe that'll be a drabble who knows."

Lo and behold we move onto the Zevy argument. It was honestly refreshing since people assume that relationships are supposed to be this happy-go-lucky dynamic or that one person can immediately change how you process things / live your life so it was nice to see that, despite seemingly being in-tuned to each other in every which way, they do have to work on things. Nonetheless, my heart still caved when Ivy said they needed distance and that she hoped Zero got his shit together soon...I was so close to screaming at my laptop screen because BOY PLEASE GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER I CAN'T DEAL WITH ANOTHER TWIST AT THIS POINT. But lord okay once we got back to present day I gushed so much at Ivy's little handmade scarf / knitting hobby, she truly is an arts and crafts baby with the knitting, musical background, and baking.

THE PROPOSAL WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED AND WE'RE POPPING THE BIGGEST BOTTLES AS WE SHED TEARS AT THE WAY THIS STORY ENDED SO BEAUTIFULLY. Legit once I read your author's note the title made so much sense I face palmed so hard it's genius I can't even process. This whole chapter and this story have been such a big part of my young life it'll definitely be sad to let it go and not see another update from it here, but I'm excited for the drabble series. As far as I'm concerned, I would love to see your take on a bnha OC fic tbh because I do love that series as well and the characters all have interesting backstories you could work with.

I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll be writing a review on any of your works and I certainly hope that I won't stop any time soon in the near future. Thank you for all of your hard work these years and for sharing this beloved story with us all. I hope you get some rest and feel the love you receive in every review that comes in from here on. I have only one thing to criticize. Zero is someone who is shown more as a pawn/puppet for pureblood too often that people forget he resisted them most of his life. Same here it's shown that he stayed away from her for years. In the end ivy and cannon Yuki had the same way for getting him.

You really did an amazing job in all aspects, from the characterization to the story telling ! While reading this story I almost felt like I was reading a whole new season (if it wasn't for the fact I knew VK's ending *cries in Zero*) and the main protagonist, Ivy, is so endearing. Hands down one of my favorite OC

To answer your question; I think incest can be ok as long as you have love for your other physically and emotionally not just physically. That’s just what I believe. First off, yay for the first update of 2019! I was really surprised tbh when I saw the notification on my phone that a new chapter was up so I was like O.O oh wow okay we're doing this then LOL. Okay but in all sincerity, this was a really endearing update I love Flynn's character so much (it's totally not just i'm a fellow sweets addict i swear) so I'm not too surprised to see others also want a chapter centered around him. Seeing the dynamics between Flynn and his other brother followed by his parents had me so warm and soft, I love this family so much I can't even begin to describe how much. The Kiriyuu family is full of big softies and that alone makes me smile so much. Flynn calling Kou special and that he would always be because he was his older brother and the convo between Flynn and Zevy was honestly the icing on the cake I almost bawled. Aside from the family fluff, Flynn's internal crisis over losing the bulk of his chocolates was relateable as heck I felt that so thank you for that bit of humor.

Moving on to Azalea and the cousins in Switzerland, I can see what you mean about things going in a totally different direction from what you were expecting to write initially. As a reader, I thought it was going to focus more on Azalea and Flynn's dynamic, but when it shifted more towards Flynn and Seina clearing up their misunderstandings I wasn't disappointed in the least. If anything Seina really laid out the stepping stones for Flynn to set his rational personality aside for a moment and accept whatever it is that he felt, be it love or something else, as something sincere. I think their conversation also really cemented the idea that time is precious and shouldn't be wasted in doubting every thought or action you take. Idk I may be completely mumbling out of left field but if anything it was Seina's involvement in the chapter that made Flynn and Azalea's first interactions seem all the more special. As far as Azalea is concerned, I really would like to see more of her in whatever drabbles you come up with. Like I said, I think you did well in setting the ground work for her relationship with Flynn and it's honestly ironic how the intellectual boy can develop feelings towards someone he considers an enigma (sorry I'm weak for these types of pairings LOL). She just seems like a sweetheart you want to protect so if she ever makes a reappearance in another story I'd be pumped to read it.

Sorry if my review isn't as detailed as past ones I'm a little under the weather at the moment so I just wanted to get my main thoughts and appreciation out in the open. As far as your question goes, I wasn't a big fan of the incest in the VK realm but like you said Hino made it the norm so I guess it's not a shocker to see it portrayed within the context of VK. I can definitely agree though Haru and Flynn's relationship is adorable to the point you can really tell they are kindred spirits / platonic soulmates. As always, thanks for another wonderful update! Can I just say that while reading this chapter I got the feels just the same way as when I first read the original chapter of Juliette. Honestly not gonna lie I started tearing up again xD all I can say is this chapter was perfect perfect perfect you really have a gift for expressing character emotions soo well it’s unreal! It’s so awesome seeing things play out in zeros POV I’m really digging it! But that also doesn’t mean I don’t love seeing things in Ivy’s POV because her POV is just as interesting believe me!
