This is beautiful and sad. You brought me to tears... I always liked Oliver, and this story does him justice.
I also liked Gabby's/Ginny's friendship and the implied H/Hr/L.

A little story, full of the whimsy and sadness that apAidan often injects in his stories.

Wow! You did exactly what I was hoping for. You gave more than just a obituary, you gave an intricate story. I've always been partial to Gabrielle and you definitely did her more than justice. Her character in this is believable and beautiful. Ginny and Gabrielle's friendship is something that I'm now going to scour the site for more of. Absolutely amazing job!

I will not be able to compliment this enough. It is fantastic. My favorite part has to be "There we were, all trying to make small talk when Ollie comes in and announces to the bar that there's a meeting of the 'Girls Who Harry Potter Save From a Messy Death or Worse' Club going on at table three." I was laughing despite the fact only minutes before my eyes were filling with tears.

Oh, poor Oliver! I always liked his character, and I was rather sorry we didn't get to see more of him in the books. I really like that we get Ginny and Gabrielle, here; I don't know that I've ever seen a story that has them in an established friendship or interacting for any length of time. This is very poignant and charming - thank you for a lovely read!
