I ship Mary/Matthew to the point of pain but this was wow. I mean, it was just... wow. Speechless.

It was really convincing, I could picture it all. You got them so in-character, even Anna, who starred for all of twenty words.

It was quite sad, although compared to the emotional turmoil of Mary/Matthew... but it was sad in a different way because Mary is so cold so when she cries it's always sad. I like how Mary still seemed to be in love with Matthew here, but Lavinia kind of caught her eye, in the same way Kemal did. Mary seems the type who could seduce literally anyone if she wanted them badly enough.

This was really really good.

Oh my word I loved this! It's so beautifully written and totally in character and I love what you do with the pairing. I've never read Mary/Lavinia before and been able to see it quite so well and the end really was so sad! I'm a hardened femslasher and now I might just start shipping M/L too!
