To me it seemed that Kagome was more asexual then it being about her being a priestess. Though it is kind of creepy of her to watch him and steal his semen. It was well written but it just felt weird with her waiting so long to tell him about his kids. Why didn't she do it after she had the first child?

A beautiful story. A moment of time and an impulsive decision (as well the science progress of her time) allowed Kagome to furfill her destiny and still have children with the man she loved (and who loved her). Sesshomaru didn't expect to see her again and have children but it was a good surprise for him. I think he would prefer to be with her and their children even without sex because he can understand duty... and it's possible that sex with a youkai ciould be dangerous for an human (as a dog demon, he could very well have a knot). And they would probably realize they could do things without actual penetration...

although I never really understood why a priest or the female version have to be virgins. In some religions there is not such a thing as sex called "dirty". Such a perversion of what is natural.. Isn't a priest supposed to be some form of teacher? As far as I know sex itself is not considered as a sin in any religion. So if a priest can lie, cheat, or even kill (there were warrior priests or monks in a lot of religions), why not sex? Humans really are a big puzzle.

wow, that's just... sad. And extremely sadistic. Priesthood is a choice, right? So isn't she a lot of selfish to ask a man to be with her without sex? That's just unnatural.
