Great story! Lilit is very in character; I love how she figures out everything about Alek. I'm not sure how she knew about Adela? Was it the clinging, or the "straight face" bit?

I like this pairing.

Ohhhh, this was FUN! I hadn't thought of Lilit and Adela as a dynamic duo, as it were, but they're great here. You write Lilit better than any other fic author... 'nuff said. :)

PS: Was Lilit's costume choice inspired by that extremely evil April's Fools artwork?

This was awesome. And making Lilit like Dylan even when she knew he was a girl was a nice touch, and it even kind of followed her character. You had good description.

Ack... so close. I was really hoping that Lilit would show up in the authorfic, but 'twas not to be. Poor Lilit. Liking girls is so not going to be easy in 1914, but if anyone can make it work, it's her.

This story is excellent and I quite agree with you; Adela and Lilit are perfectly matched for each other. There was one message that you seemed to be hinting at that I wasn't sure made sense. At all. But your writing style is much like Mr. Westerfeld's although I did miss both Deryn and Alek's odd speech patterns.

Hey I just realized, Lilit and Adela are very close in age. I don’t know why I always imagined Adela to be older than twenty. That is actually really cool because I just turned twenty.

But seriously, I enjoyed this. And after reading Goliath I started to like Lilit. Dare I say even more than Deryn? With love triangles, it is rare when I actually like the rejected party. So this was a change. Although, I was sort of hoping Lilit would talk to Deryn. This story was still really good.

Oh, howwwww perfect! Slightly ashamed I never thought of this pairing. Lillit is fabulous and entirely underrated, as is Adela. You write them both beautifully!
