This has always been one of my favorite stories, and I always find myself coming back to re-read it. My heart continuously breaks for Rian, and you've created such a believable world. And it's always heartbreaking re-reading this story because I know what happens and what all of the extra steps Kurt and Blaine have to take are before Rian is theirs and he gets healthy.

I love this story!

Really cute chapter. I can't wait to see Rian grow close to Kurt and Blaine. I hope they can help alleviate Rian's nervousness and fears about meeting their parents.

Quick question: a chapter or two ago, didn't you say that Thanksgiving was in NYC and Christmas was in Ohio? In this chapter Blaine talks about doing Thanksgiving in Ohio. No matter, still love the story.

I am happy to finally know Rian is 12! I assumed he was around 13 anyway ] Also, have to admit, I wish we got to read Kurt and Blaine calling their respective parents about Rian. I am super excited to hear about their reaction in future chapters though!

1. Awh, Blaine. I love you. I love how much you care for Rian. I like how Rian trusts you. Now it's time to see Kurt and Rian form some sort of a relationship. I can't wait for that to happen. 2. I like finally getting some of Rian's perspective. I almost want to slap Blaine over the head for not recognizing on his own that this is all really hard on Rian-this whole transition. I kind of feel like Kurt would be the one to understand it all, though. But I am loving that we are learning more and more about Rian just as Blaine and Kurt are learning it.

Oh god. I already see Blaine being that overly worried parent. If he and Kurt ever get a newborn he is going to be the parent that is afraid to pick the baby up for fear of dropping him/her. Love.

Kuuuuuuurt. I love you! God. I love you, Kurt. You seem like a really awesome person and you would be a great dad.

Ah! Rian! But..I'm loving how I see things shaping up. And I LOVE the idea of Blaine and Kurt being foster parents. In your A/N in chapter 1 you talked about reading a whole ton of Kurt/Blaine biological kids. And I have, too. And for some reason I always prefer the adoption stories just because they are fewer and farther between (and I am a HUGE proponent of adoption). But them being foster parents never entered my mind, and I don't know why. My mother almost became a foster parent. I absolutely love that Kurt and Blaine would want to foster and would take the initiative to apply and educate themselves on it. Awesome, AWESOME choice. I love it.
